To the people who says TFT like it's crap. TFT (Thin Film Transistor) is a family of transistors used primarily for displays. Common ones are TN, IPS/PLS, and VA.
and yes, IPS is a type of TFT panel. TFT is just a generic term for LCD types of displays. TN is usually the ugliest ones on a phone AKA the ones that shift colors when viewed at an angle (TN color shift).
