Design is quite simple and decent I like it but the cameras are ruining it to some extent imo overall this looks quite average and hopefully it won't be priced above $350

RishiGuru, 20 Apr 2020YES. But cannot confirm if it has LG's legendary QuadDAC implementation. And even that as usual in LG will only be available in few markets. LG always lock features to certain markets. Also this Velvet is a downgrade from G series. Look at that single useful camera. And the midrange SoC. The worst is that even being a downgrade, the rumored price is around 670 euros... Too much for a design language when the hardware that matters is not there anymore.

Wonder how big display it is going to have. A more compact one would be great to see.

Med Rouge, 20 Apr 2020I personally like it. Nice minimalist design. No camera bulge, high screen to body ratio, ... ... morelg is being haunted by bootloop...
lg has good camera output, btw...
my g4 gives nice results... and all g and v series after it gives better results... audio wise, excellent as well...

X41, 20 Apr 2020I hate all kinds of notch...punch hole is better for.menotch is equally obtrusive to punched hole... imo, bezel to put that camera is better, it is small anyway...

nice design... but they must have get rid of the notch... should have put a bezel on top and a bit below for unobstructed viewing...
the camera seemed to be weak, but as a user of g4, i think it can still do a lot, and of good output...
the back curve is good, the front one is not...
                            ... just opinions...

Doesn't look bad, it will probably still be one of those generic big smartphones you see every day on this website, though.
