Yeah, maybe DxOMark used the DSLR images to evaluate Huawei.
Samsung has been updating their camera software like a storm, too and the results are getting better.

Besides, why everyone judg... moreAt that price, people expect the camera to be No.1 and not some 6th position. Forget position, at least the camera shouldn't have any issues. The S20 Ultra's camera isn't that great as the hype and still has issues even after updates.
Besides, I didn't judge this phone for it's camera only. Regarding performance and efficiency, it's not so great. For the price, people expect the highest performance available while being efficient and this phone is clearly ain't that great in it either. Without great performance and efficiency, user experience will be crap. Yes I'm referring to the Exynos varient because it's what most people are gonna get.
I think you didn't read my comment properly. At least have the patience to read and the ability to understand instead of commenting crap.

Happy with my Note 10 plus 5G. DXO Mark rating 117. Not worth paying that price for the S20 ultra.

Besides, why everyone judge a phone for its camera? Suddenly, everyone is a photographer. Sorry to say it, but camera isn't the most important part of a phone. Real life performance, efficiency and user experience are way more important.

Hahaha... Epic fail! The so called "108mp camera" & "space zoom" is just a gimmick.
Paying such a high price for an ugly device with not so great camera and crap chipset (Exynos). You can't even use the full resolution with high refresh rate. Also the display ain't as good the OP 8 Pro's 10-bit panel. What a shame! Why buy this crap phone for such a high price?

S20 ultra is not worth it, camera most of all, regular take is blur, and 100x space soom is so FAKE. personally, im so disapointed and s20 ultra is absolutely my last samsung.

To those who are wondering. Dxomark have reviewed the Exynos 990 version. Which is what 80% of buyers will get. So their review will be accurate for the majority of customers.

First we had "Retina", now we have "Space Zoom". Samsung seem happy to slide down the old Apple route of giving their flagship a new feature with a super fancy name, jacking up the price beyond belief and leaving the end user with performance that struggles to justify it. I used to be a big fan of Samsung phones but it's as if they are on a mad chase to become a posh Apple-like brand at the expense of what made them great in the first place. I had the original Galaxy S, the S4 and S5 and I loved them.
Huawei, Oppo, Oneplus etc are like the Samsung of old - pushing the boundaries and squeezing the overpriced brands above. As such I can't help but feel security isn't the only reason the US doesn't want Chinese brands to be able to compete on level terms.
