Jake420, 22 Apr 2020dxomark has lost credibility here a long time but giving the s20 ultra a lower score than the ... moreI got to be honest, even the Find X2 Pro produced far better photo quality than this Samsung. Heck, even Xiaomi's Mi 10 Pro 5G can also do better.
these tests dont seem accurate at all. Samsung gets a better ultra wide than huawei even tho huawei has better details and destroys it in low light (they didint even tested low light ultra wide) even with a smaller field of view.
Huawei gets better score on video where you can clearly see better details on samsung when recording , i`m confused about these tests
If one of the brands that does not send a unit to be tested (LG, Sony, Motorola and HMD) had same AF issues, the AF score would be less than 80.
I am disappointed. My wife like to take close up picture of flowers and the S20 ultra simply cannot focus correctly, keep moving back and forth, I told her to focus manually, I am sure her old Note 8 won't have this problem. Based on the reviews, the S20+ don't the the focusing problem, I should have bought that instead.
I cannot stop laughing. Some of top 5 are half priced.
Good innovation, samsung.
dxomark has lost credibility here a long time but giving the s20 ultra a lower score than the find x2 pro is hilarious every video on the internet would beg to differ
I guess without several major updates recently, camera related,Ultra won't even be in Top 10..a prime example of massively overpriced and overhyped product...
They gave 97 pts of AF ?
The biggest joke of the century. Should not be more than 50.
The rage is a strong one with S20 series.
I really hope users can push Samsung to do better next time ... or punnish Samsung accordingly. After all Samsung is just one of many and they should try to deliver decent devices if they want to stay on top ... or relevant.
not surprised at all
huawei is definitely king here and the + version haven't even come yet
samsung started taking advantage of his leading position to sell us bad hardware for more money, kinda playing apple here
next year when i change my s10 if samsung doesnt cool down with this exynos and pumped price pattern, i will get huawei for sure
I was expecting a lower score, between 110-115. How could they give this ultra with such a high score? There are obvious hiccups to the camera and photos as I have well observed personally, software-updated wise to add.
AnonD-765530, 22 Apr 2020Are you freaking kidding???poor choice for phoyography??..this camera setup is better thn the ... morewho in their right mind would want an overpriced setup that cant AF properly?
Does anyone actually take DxO scores seriously? Certainly nobody from the photographic world with any widespread respect does.
But I guess they are a good marketing tool: marketing loves numbers that nobody understands, and it gets DxO's name out there as well.

DxOMark scores don't make any sense. They have all their lab stuff, gadgets and backgrounds to conduct smartphone cameras but the people seem to have little knowledge about image quality. The HDR compositioning of the S20 is way to excessive and unnatural, the skys look pasted in. Thats not how the human eye sees nature.
