Gaming is a different story though. Still should be able to get 90+ fps on competitive games.

I mean, they already have the Red Magic 5G but WHY couldn't that phone have this 5,100mAH battery? That would've sealed the deal. Oh well.

if this phone is really meant for PLAYing games, maybe Nubia should have chosen UFS3 & LPDDR5 for storage and RAM , but then how else are they going to keep the price cheap !

Too bad, SD765G doesn't have enough horsepower to render Android UI beyond 90fps.

Now THIS is how you make a great smartphone without breaking the bank although I believe they're selling with razor-thin profit margins. It's only 100 yuan more than the Redmi K30 5G in all 3 variants. Still, if you don't need flagship SoC, go for this one.

Red Magic 5G starts at $540 for the base model, this phone on the other hand starts at $340 for the base model. That's a $200 saving.
Now obviously, if you want to play heavy games at high refresh rate, then you should spend the extra money on the flagship model. If however you don't mind standard gaming performance, then you'll be satisfied with this phone. The 144Hz will improve UI experience, and certain well-optimized games will reach 90+ FPS on this phone.
Haters gonna hate, but Nubia's bringing the real value here.

144Hz and the big battery will drain in no time. Absolute gimmick when 90Hz is enough for a phone like that. Don't forget that nubia also has some of the worst OSes there with translation issues. Only people who cares about specs at less price and quality will buy this junk.
