That pathetic battery capacity ruined an almost great phone. Pity.
sure i will buy it ... so some android user will hate me more ... love to see their hatred
the things that hinder me from buying this phone are
1. Not so cheap as in US (may go up to US$560 in local market for 64 GB version)
2. Suspected intentionally underclock the CPU/SoC (referring to those benchmarks)
3. The camera unit may be identical to iPhone 8's (not XR or even 11) which is not so impressive.
JDK, 28 Apr 20202 hour screen on time? iPhone SE lasts around 5-6 hours of battery life(MrWhoseTheBoss even te... moreActually, it is more like 3.5 hours. And not "5-6" hours.
I don't know which video you watched. But something is sketchy about your intentions here...hmm...Are you an iSh**p?
JDK, 28 Apr 2020alright then. Do you know who in the world actually cares about "app drawer" , "widgets", etc.... moreAll OS have bugs, that is normal part of the software. Thing is that Apple tried to sell you bugs as "features" and "you are not holding your phone proper".
Also, Apple was caught red handed throttling down CPUs. Same was with iPhoneX - "Oh look how fast it is, best chipset EVER"... 6months later - "Sorry, we have to throttle your phone down to preserve the battery."
Btw, new battery test comparisons with iPhone 11 and 1+8 (after Software upgrade which Android phones lack) battery proves you wrong about iPhone 11 battery "superiority".
Higher display refresh rate (90Hz) beat iPhone 11 by 20-30%. Not to mention other phones also.
Keep believing in the hype that iPhone is the best. That is what they want from you.
JDK, 28 Apr 2020But it actually does. Even if a12 is exact same as 855+ in terms of speed, iPhone SE is still ... moreThis underclocked A13 is below A12. You are clearly biased in your comments. Benchmarks already proved it. And the users of these small phones will not notice the difference between high end SoCs.
SLSAHXOHVOMVN, 27 Apr 2020The chipset is the same pal, it's to shut up ppl who are bragging here about the A13 beating S... moreBut it actually does. Even if a12 is exact same as 855+ in terms of speed, iPhone SE is still faster than the a12. So yes, it does beat snapdragon 855 and 855+.
SLSAHXOHVOMVN, 27 Apr 2020No one afraid of tiny screen, outdated design and 2hr screen on time battery life. 2 hour screen on time? iPhone SE lasts around 5-6 hours of battery life(MrWhoseTheBoss even tested it). So that's even more proof that yes, you are afraid of this phone.
SLSAHXOHVOMVN, 27 Apr 2020No one afraid of tiny screen, outdated design and 2hr screen on time battery life. The fact you are complaining about the "old design" when this phone isn't targeted to a person that cares about that(at least 70% of the world population) only to have a supported, good phone means that yes, you are afraid about this device.
SLSAHXOHVOMVN, 27 Apr 2020Cpu and battery degradation with subsequent updates qualifies as terrible software support.
... morealright then. Do you know who in the world actually cares about "app drawer" , "widgets", etc.? Yes, people like you and me do, but we're only 5-10% out of the other 95-90% who don't care about these things.
Sure, newer android software might have better features, but by the time apple has 5 years of software updates, the features it has will already be ahead than other android released at the same year with 1, 2, or at most, 3 years of software updates. Basically, with android, if you want the latest features, you gotta spend you're money all over again.
And no, it is either CPU or Battery degration. Not both(because SoC doesn't degrade). Either have worse battery life like androids do(because no speed degration) or slightly worse CPU performance(to make up for battery degration).
Once again, who says android doesn't have bugs either?
Wily2020, 27 Apr 2020Android boys are really scared by this phone. No one afraid of tiny screen, outdated design and 2hr screen on time battery life.
JDK, 27 Apr 2020Yet, android provides terrible software support. And if you want relatively good image process... moreCpu and battery degradation with subsequent updates qualifies as terrible software support.
Spending half the year fixing bugs after rolling out beta like version of iOS qualifies as terrible software support.
Getting features like app drawer and fully functional widgets in the 2020 (iOS 14) qualifies as terrible software support.
PhonePowerhouse, 27 Apr 2020If you want to render video, buy the iPhone pro. Who renders videos on phones anyway? The chipset is the same pal, it's to shut up ppl who are bragging here about the A13 beating SD855 and others in benchmarks and also being energy efficient which is clearly not the case.
Have you seen the battery test on youtube? 3.45hrs SoT, basically you will have to charge it by noon. Okay the bezels, okay (not really) no headphone jack, incredibly poor battery not okay at all.
Although i have an iPhone 6 that still runs good it is starting to show its age. Love the size and fits nicely in my pocket and hand. The new SE should be a very good upgrade. Planning to get one this coming summer or early fall after the early sales wind down some.
Bezels are great. Notches are horrible. Bezels give you something to hold onto. You don't notice the bezels when you are looking at the screen while working and concentrating on what you are doing.
Anonymous, 27 Apr 2020U gotta b desperate to have that apple logo on the back of ur phone to spend $400 on this piec... moreIf you buy Android phone you will only lose money, need to buy new one every 1-2 years because phone gets laggy, outdated and not getting updates. Then you upgrade to next model and same happening again.
I do like the price, definitely didn't break the bank for someone like me who never experience the whole iOS ecosystem. But I also see a lot of used iPhone XS or XS Max in pristine fully working condition on online classifieds for the same price or cheaper than the new SE (2020). This doesn't turn out to be as simple as I thought.
