I’m still using the SE from 2016 and still a beast when it comes to performance, camera and battery. Now that the 2nd gen SE is here i can finally get an iPhone that satisfy my needs and for a great price. For the haters i say, Apple made this phone for a targeted audience that have been waiting for something like this phone. Some people, like me don’t care about huge 6-7 inches screens with 120Hz, 3 or 4 cameras and a modern design, these things are important and nice but as long as my phone has the latest CPU and GPU, superior connectivity capabilities(WIFI 6 and GIGABIT class LTE), really decent camera and battery life i can really buy this phone without thinking about it knowing it will last at least 3 years.

U gotta b desperate to have that apple logo on the back of ur phone to spend $400 on this piece of shiat. Or u r stuck in apple ecosystem n too lazy to switch to Android, which is a shame as over time, u will save a ton of money, with way better phones to choose from.

Making phone with such huge bezels in 2020 is offensive for customers. Apple knows that has millions of followers who buy everything with fruit logo on it. Why such big and innovative(?) company didnt create a small phone but with 80-90 screen to body ratio? Why? They could reate something like s10e but smaller. Instead they use old parts from 2016.. Really? And remember, 399 dollars is only in US, in Europe Iphone SE is about 520 dollars, for 64big version.. That's ridiculous.

And if you want relatively good image process... moreMy son using LetV Le 1 for almost 5 years without replacing anything and no software upgrade for the past 3 years! It was bought for nearly $180-$200 FHD IPS 5.7 inches!! Software upgrades not needed beyond a point for average users unless you use them for various Banking, Financials, Professional productivity activities which is in any case Android flagships provide for 3 years(Note 5 I was holding it for three years). Android OS has stabilised a lot in the last couple of iterations and people got to a point where they really don’t see any point in software upgrades beyond silly bugs and security patches.

Why you list those huge bricks? Overall i just understand why Android users list those huge Android phones when they say why won’t someone buy this and this instead. Clearly people who going to buy this SE wants light, thin and compact phone. I still own my old 6s and tried it after many years and it felt great in my hand.

Not many people realize how hard it is to get a device that has all things you want. I had to sacrifice and just accept some 'features' I didn't want because I really needed new phone.

Not that I like small phones(the phones in my house are always iPhone SE-sized, and I like the refreshing feel of large phones), but there should be more variety of smartphone screen sizes out there.
The thing is, apple only has recently gone really good with battery life. Before iPhone 11 series, the battery was mainly the same as other smartphones.

Actually I love its compact dimension but Apple could have used the entire real estate of this small phone like Samsung S10e, yeah may be the display size would have gone slightly smaller @ 5.6 or 5.7 inch but still it would have been huge success with larger display along with compact dimension and yes the absence of 3.5mm jack is hurting too.

And would you rather have same battery life but slightly slower chipset, or a battery that degrades year over year? Androids have this problem even more cause of fast charging.
Longer battery life? Sure, larger battery CAPACITY, but take a look at the iPhone 11 series.
Not to mention android phones also get slower every update. If they even SUPPORT more updates. Good luck with your smartphone loosing battery life every year. And good luck trying to resell your phone. Good luck.
Bigger screen? By 0.2 inches? Seriously?

You get more features longer battery life bigger screen more freedom... You only lose longer update support but remember your phone will become slower and slower after each update.

It is absolute garbage comparing to the competition but knowing people love cheaper iPhones thats the only thing they need to know, but otherwise it is effortless most bizzare way for Apple to make quick buck during this crisis, but I would avoid this phone as plague if I were you, not worth money at all, battery extremely week and will be probably in replacemt list in 1 year time causing you to waste even more money on this overpriced iphone 8

And if you want relatively good image processing, your´re gonna have to look at the high end. Pixel 4a(not even released yet) is probably your´re only option. And it doesn´t take as good video, nor is it as fast, but having the advantage of a way better display.

When these days, the screen to body ratio is anything north of 85%, only apple can dare to release a phone with 65% in 2020. Again only apple fans can dare to buy it tooo...!!!

And, you can't say Android is superior because of market share.Because dozens upon dozens of companies use android. Meanwhile, apple is just 1 company.
Well you say samsung has greater market share than apple? First of all, they produce tons upon tons of cheap phones every year, to target people who cannot afford a maxed out phone. If you look at the premium segement, or in the U.S, apple's market share is way above samsung.
