Anonymous, 24 Apr 2020This phone absoluletely obliterates any android in anything speed related.Totally! Including speed of battery drain!
Anonymous, 27 Apr 2020Why do you mean by TV output? airplay? so basically screen mirroring. Most TV's are limited ... moreyour point ? we are talking about FHD on TV not 720P as in this phone , so 60 fps is hard to reach anyways at FHD resolution
If only android, within a week there will be a patch by developer to gain full speed
SNA1970, 24 Apr 2020yes the soc can play games over 60fps using TV output. Why do you mean by TV output? airplay? so basically screen mirroring.
Most TV's are limited to 60fps anyway.

Typical Apple BS, any chinese top flagship phone with same price would be much better choice when this barefoot iphone

Can that SOC do split screen multitaskin... moreSir, if 90% of the people talking here are saying that iPhone is faster, than iPhone should be faster.
Plus, I don't trust Antutu in any way. I just simply don't understand how biased they are to android phones, especially in china.
Comments against the SE come at A13 speed.
zodiacfml, 25 Apr 2020I don't like Apple but your article is worse (click bait?). Why base performance on Antutu? I... moreHow is Antutu score giving you a single number?
There is breakdown of everything from RAM to storage speed to cpu to gpu.
Ever bother to look at it?
It's the complete Benchmark unlike GeekBench which only calculates cpu.
I don't like Apple but your article is worse (click bait?). Why base performance on Antutu? It is of the worst benchmarks if you ask me because its just a single number that really doesn't tell much except the performance is on par within a generation of devices.
However, there are some articles/videos pointing that it is slightly underclocked probably to help with its ridiculously tiny battery.
Well, what did you expect from the iPhone SE (Surplus [Parts] Edition)? They'll definitely cut corners so that it doesn't undercut the sale of their overpriced flagships where most of their profits come from.

I was speaking for majority of ppl out there who have used high refresh rate displays never to return back to 60hz again.
Anandtech says otherwise
Zero , 24 Apr 2020The Old SE was NOT holding back and was at full speed. It has sightly more battery than 5S.
... moreThen ask yourself.. are you willing to pay $699 for full equally same performance as current ip 11 for outdated design and older components?
Apple got brain.. they want new customers... This just an introduction product for people who want to taste ios.

I used a 120hz display on smartphone before they become mainstream... I still come back and use phone with 60hz ... Not much of the difference.. never missed those 120hz display & i value battery life more than just a smoothness of scrolling.

I could not care less for 60+ on a slave device like a smartphone, my desktop display or tablet are different things.

Don't need to be a tech nerd to notice that difference.

Most people wouldn't know what the refresh rate is on their phone, why it matters, or why having 90 Hz is better. Tech nerds care about specs, normal people don't.

My criticism is toward both the Apple & the Android nerds that make everything about specs all the time.
