And Here WeGo is not Good in many countries so not many users using it. Don't look inside your home, look outside and see what most of the ppl using.

I am using Here WeGo always, first of all because of their offline maps, and in general, is faster and lighter than Google Maps. And who are these 'we'? Don't like it? Don't use it, is that simple. There are still a lot of people who uses Here WeGo.
I can't stop laughing, after reading 'Now, it got a serious addition'. Seriously? I didn't aspect such silly article may be editor is a big Huawei. I was also and writing comment using my Honor 8 Pro. But without GMS sorry Huawei.
And how can you say a serious addition to huawei app gallery? How many actually using Here WeGo? 5 to 6 years back it was some what useful but today there is no alternetive of Google Maps, even Apple is not able to give any challenge to Google Map.
I think in many of the editor and users are not able to accept that without GMS Huawei mobile is nothing to mass. If chinese are used to without GMS, it doesn't mean entire world are good to go. Some less than 1% of tech guy use side loading GMS or uses rooting doesn't prove every other can live without GMS.
Be brave and accept it that we can not use smartphones without Google play store and Apple play store. Even not seeing anything in near future.
And ofcourse it doesn't matter that Huawei can't sold their smartphone, cause their back is supported by Chinese patriot and Chinese Govt.
Best map I never used.... still using it..... offline map since Nokia era.....better than Google map.....I wish Google map not to be pre installed....it's wasting lot of my phone memory simply
Funny thing is, my HERE map on old Microsoft Nokia phones not accessible anymore in Huawei's home country years ago.
Anonymous, 24 Apr 2020hahaha! I didn't even know Here WeGo was still in business....Here Wego have millions download it work better even in offline mode.
This is a great news, Here (WeGo) is a great turn by turn navi.
HereWeGo is the worst navigator app in Iran.
Waze is the best (+ Neshan that is a great local Iranian navigator)
AnonD-926702, 24 Apr 2020that's actually very good news, i would love for more apps especially the one's that are popul... moreI dont think that we could see more popular apps going to huawei. lack of gms is hard you know i know because i am a developer. sooner or later programming languages that is made in u.s.a they will bad huawei as well so they cannot make apps nor games unless they will make chinese programming language which is hard for us developer to read and code in there. i will just let u.s.a company google and chinas huawei talk about this. seeing covid that originated in china i think it will affect chinese company huawei.
Definitely great news. I still use HERE on my Nokia/Microsoft Lumia smartphones to this day and it still never disappoints me. I even tried it on my microG-flashed Samsung smartphone and I also like HERE more than Google Maps.
I can hear Mario saying " Here we go" upon opening the app.
It would be a nice feature, with option to disable it.
