But hey, this one is also for nostalgic people, at least it's a even cheaper than SE, also 8.1 Go version is dope, 1GB? Well i guess 2GB will be overkill for such a beast... (And also 8.1 and 9, GO versions, supports up to 1GB RAM, imagine) but thats a Google thinking..

Pretty sure Samsung had killed the J series. They don't make that phone anymore. Who is even re-releasing this old trash?? Even Samsung Korea would be shocked to hear this news.

Samsung just took advantage of the old approval of a version of the J2 Core that already existed in other markets to bring it to India (which only had the 8 GB version, and recently discontinued the A2 Core, which was 16 GB).

This resembles another misleading advertisement from Samsung in India: the J2 2017 Edition, which was basically a rebranding of J2 2015.

Seriously now, this a shame of a phone. Android 8, in 2020? The Doogee X95 offers a much better screen, modern design, triple camera, huge battery and Android 10, for 60 dollars.

This isn't just Samsung fault. of any, it's an apparent case of Google's failed Go attempt. Let me explain it you guys.
To ship device with GMS, OEMs must pass CTS test. Before that, OEMs also must submit an approval on timed window. For example, Android 9 Pie last approval date was 31st January 2020. Any later than that, the device won't be approved to use GMS, or even Android™ branding. OEMs must ship device with Android 10. There's an exempt for this, that Android Oreo (Go Edition) timed window was supposedly closed at 31st October 2019. That's becase Android 9 Pie (Go Edition) has performance regression problem.
This should mean no more phone released with Android Oreo (Go Edition). Weirdly enough, Google just approved this phone, despite having released Android 10 (Go Edition), with currently only Nokia 1.3 released with it. If any, this is the usual Google problem, for not sticking with their decision.

rubbish phone by samsung. Buy redmi 8a or realme c3. You can get the realme c2 too
100 INR is nothing; most people are capable of spending like INR 700 more and going for a future-proof solution like Realme C2 2020.
That has 3 GB of RAM, 64 GB internal storage, better cameras, HD 6.1 inch display and 4000 mAH battery.
It runs Android 9.0 Pie!
