Great value for money (at least for Indians), but do they care about Android version updates, if they ever release any at all?

Anonymous, 27 Apr 2020here we go... another fairy tale story.. . realme and redmi is taking InDonesia market.. s... moreor maybe your just another fairy tale story, there are several statistics might completely different from different entities like canalys or statcounter etc.. but dont forget, some of them based their statistics from shipments numbers.. which one is more reliable, shipment numbers or sales numbers? what if brand A got 100mil shipment units and brand B got only 50mil shipment units, but in the end brand A only sells 10mil units and brand B sells 30mil units? from the perspective of business, it will prefer the sales numbers instead shipments, all those units if dont sell will only end up in warehouse, and we need to conclude the numbers not just from quarterly reports, you need at least a year of reports to make conclusion.
You could say realme and redmi taking over the market while in the real field you found people mostly uses samsung and oppo in the public like ojol or people who use public transport, so which one is sound more like fairy tale?

r u ready, 27 Apr 2020every china brand..bypass samsung sales figureIn countries like India, price is important. Samsung stopped fighting with Chinese oems to sell the cheapest possible smartphones for a couple of years already. In turn, they lost sales in low end, but gained in mid tier smartphones, while being more or less stable in the high end. I’d say that it’s a win for Samsung because mid range generates more profits than entry level smartphones.

Its about time samsung ditches their exynos nonsense and switch to snapdragon on all phones. launch mid range phones with snapdragon 7xx or 6xx series

Good build, good specs & at decent price > Samsung's overpriced mid-rangers.

With the release of the iphone SE and now this Samsung really needs to improve their A series. My wishlist add atleast ip53 ratings and better processors like SD 720G in A52 and SD 765G in A72

i wonder if samsung even cares. They hardly make profit by selling budget and mid-rangers, hence why they flood media with ads for their S, Note and fold lines. If you consider the cost for a flagship and the price it's apparent why they focus on high end stuff in markets where people have more money like here in germany where they literally spam with their ads and probaply bribe mobile network provider who dish them out for next to nothing in a 2 year contract.
