[deleted post]To be fair, this is in South Korea where people pay in data plans and not upfront so they do not notice the cost. Also, things are overpriced there. Wait, just like in the West right?
Also, not defending this phone but can you compare it with cheaper products that can match most of its specs, like 3.5mm jack/sd slot etc. so we can see?
I do not really like the direction things are going but I am not the one of those who condoned them to go this way.

Have been using LG V30 for the past 2 years and ergonomically, it's perfect. It has 6" 18:9 display with minimal bezels (no notch/punchhole/pop-up or any such BS), no curved edges, and is very compact and light.
I guess i will postpone upgrading and keep it for couple of years more.
car, 28 Apr 2020That phone is beautiful at every angle but damn that notch is ugly af...For me this notch looks better than 95% hole punch - holes. Only the one, in the middle and small (like in A51, A71 have bigger), hole, looks good. So, smart move by LG with small notch U shaped, and also 6.8mm with 4300mAh inside? Is it there any midranger with same battery and tickness, and why not? Design is (esp for midranger) 10/10.. Only software and UI we will se, but i think that LG have similar skin to OneUi from Samsung.

The specs are ok but the display should have been much smaller. They will probably set the price too high again...

and what's wrong with people hiding their face ?
You mad you can't see someone's face because they don't want to see yours ?
Maybe some people are tired of the stares they get so they shield their eyes from negatively prying and invasive looks ?
Ever thought about that or do you live in a bubble where you have the right to stare into someone's eyes or face just because you think you can ?

Everything looks good. They better price it below 650 USD
gotta say, design is really nice and simplistic although i really miss all the pop up selfie cams from last year, what the hell happened to them? they make the phones more expensive like 1+ but take away a very good and probably expensive feature e.g. op8 and find x2, getting more expensive but taking away the best feature is a big fail imo
Paddy, 28 Apr 2020These aspect ratios are getting a bit out of control 😂THANK YOU!!! finally someone who points it out besides me, what was so bad about 18:9? that was literal perfection for me nowadays they get taller and taller ffs
6.8mm with 4300mAh inside? Well done, Samsung, Xiaomi, midrangers learn from it, because we want slim devices, not heavy fat bricks with similar screen sizes.
