App shows digital zoom values among the fixed FL.
Fixed are 16, 24 and 70.
There is 35mm as digital zoom for the 24mm camera.

And this is weird and a very poor business (lack of) decision, especially being a leading gaming company also, and the unfortunate results are, that Sony is no longer a leader but a follower in a industry that it once triumph.

This phone could be powered by nuclear fusion and have a Hubble telescope lenses, but if it's not up for sale, it's useless.

I would say that the Xperia 1 II is meant to be the successor of the Sony Rx100 VA. I never liked the Rx100 I-V series, very bad usability.

For that expensive phone sounds a bit poor when others offer two telephoto cameras at a lot cheaper price. Funny way to hide the real optical zoom in their telephoto camera when all other manufacturers are declaring it. Lol. Sony....

For regular users it does have software acceleration to 90Hz. This will make the transitions much smoother than base 60Hz but not be effective for competitive gaming. There are phones like ASUS ROG which are designed specifically for that.

SD865 does not support 4k90 nor 4k120.

Tele is 70mm, it has digital zoom up to 200mm.
Tele is 2.9x the wide.

If the base telephoto is 70mm then with a typical angle of vision of 33º then optical zoom is only around 2x... If it's even more narrow 3x at most, but then the angle of vision will be really small.
