Real.Talk, 30 Apr 2020"Please tell me you really see difference between 1080x2460 screen and even higher resolution ... moreI can clearly see the difference between QHD and 1080p FHD.

My LG V35 is QHD, and then I bought V50S which FHD, the downgrade is visible.

Having said that, I'm pleased with battery life on V50S and I can live with excellent 1080 screen of LG.

There is no place for a 2k, 4k display on a display under 20 inchs. It impacts battery way too much. A good quality 1080p screen out performs a poor 2k display any day.

I also had one but the battery endurance was pretty bad, and sometimes it got pretty warm, but damned, the sound output from this phone was awesome!
Maybe I will get one to use as a multimedia player.

You state a fundamental truth. The masses are only concerned and interested in getting their quad-hourly fix for Fakebook / Instagratification updates.

BLiB, 30 Apr 2020Exactly this. LG can make great hardware if they wanted too. The DAC on my G6 was awesome. But... moreThe DAC on my sold V20 was just as awesome as its microphones too.

Recorded audio and video sound was awesome and people heard me loud and clear from far away when we talked.

Actually kinda miss selling it now but I hated the light bleed from the 2nd display and the sluggish UI, sluggish dual camera with plenty of grain let alone the poor software support.

Looking back, the awesome DAC, the awesome mics, the IR blaster, radio, MicroSD slot, removable battery and slim design was all I really liked in it.

None of these attributes can be applied to my Samsung Galaxy Note4 or Note9 however and I'm so frustrated that whenever I'm on a call and my Note9 is only a few inches away, people can't hear me but they can perfectly hear the sounds and bangs coming from my kitchen 5 meters away...

Snapdragons in their phones and a little bit of lower price for that devices and win will be soon.

SLSAHXOHVOMVN, 30 Apr 2020It's 1080p+ not 1080p. I agree with you that 1080p+ screen is downgrade compared to QHD, But... moreYeah, my bad for not including the + though I also agree with you that prices are just sky-rocketing and for what the V60 offers, apart from the downgraded screen, I guess it is kind of of worth the 700 euros price tag since I got my Note9 for 630 euros but software flexibility and user experiences between the two are a different story.

Here's the thing, like Motorola, carriers in the U.K don't seem to range their phones, well, O2 UK don't. If they had the V60 ThinQ 5G available with the dual-screen case (some carriers in some other countries/regions do apparently) then I'd be interested, its a solid phone with pretty good specs (RAM and only 60Hz screen refresh rate being the only 2 that stood out for me) and the dual screen I'd actually USE (second screen as a keyboard for whatsapp, reddit etc. or watching youtube while replying to messages etc.) but O2 don't range LG phones AT ALL these days.

They should just release the successor of LG Q6 since the Q series is gain a quite popularity. And not to mention the Q6 did sell well.

Yes, my eyes can see the difference on displayed content between FHD, FHD+ QHD and even 4K - Please don't depict something as nonsense when you're unable to do it while others can - call me very blessed by God but it is what it is even though I'm unable to distinguish the individual pixels per inch on smartphones, you do need a magnifying glass for that as you say however TV's are a different story...

" I got used to standard looking compact phones ( that means 16:9 screen, below 5 inches, 3,5 mm headphone jack, normal fingerprint sensor ). Apple has just released iPhone SE but I don't want iOS which is big pile of trash for any advanced usage of the phone.
I may be alone at this one. Perhaps majority people don't really want compact phones. "

I like 16:9 screens too but the last 5 incher was my already sold Samsung Galaxy S4 Active - it felt like a compact phone and had a 3.5mm jack too that's why I liked it but after upgrading to the Samsung Note4's 16:9 5.7" screen - I would not go back to a smaller screen ever again though you're not alone in the compact phone realm, there's plenty of users who share your view so don't feel left out. Concluding my views, I dislike iOS as well and share your pile of trash opinion in regards to it too.

                                      stop saying that is marketing.
oneplus, back in the days, had 0 marketing.
if the phone is good and the price is right, people will buy it.
but LG had some years with bootloop issues, bad screen, poor battery life, useless things and etc.
and people who are willing to spend flagship money for a phone will go with popular brands.
except north america, people are buying mid rangers. the era of flagships is gone. iphone will sell, because people will buy it for bragging rights.

LG mobile should just stop trying. It will continue losing and bleeding money until it learns its lesson - that you can't release an expensive flagship phone and provide it with ABSOLUTELY ZERO, NIL, NADA android software version updates.

LG mobile's previous customers have spoken. PAYBACK PERIOD LG. You deserve your continuously shrinking market share, continuing loss of customers and continued NEGATIVE profits. You deserve the continuing losses due to the horrendous software update support you provided to your previous and once loyal and diehard customers.
