at very least, apple should've make the battery at 2800 mAh, so the battery test result would be on par with the 11-series and keep the charging time under 2 hour.
It have small is screen but be awesome smartphone for gaming.
This is a smartphone will sell by the shed load.

In other words, why care about 80% marketshare of android "conglomerate of companies" when each of them release products directly competing with each other? Heck, oneplus 8 pro and oppo find x2 pro(devices in BBK) are in virtually direct competition.
As much as I like Apple, battery life really is abysmal on SE. Unless you're planning on not using your phone throughout the day, that garbage is definitely for you. Some people really have such low expectations especially when paying $399.

Also companies are still betting on those foldable screens, we'll see what happens.
With better battery & some kind of design changes on this mobile to reduce bezels would have been great. Small phones definitely has market.
A 5" phone from Android segment could really do some great magic at market.
Redesigning in iphones means you pay heavily. That's why they are reusing old design to loot your money
Still not switching over yet until the Plus gets out and starts at $499 AND/OR with 5G.
Until then I'm confident that some droid OEMs should be ready and prepped some as a counter to SE. If all else fails there's still ROG Phone 3, Razer Phone 3 heck even Pixel 5.
I find it odd that Apple decided to do a separate delayed launch for that when they've just killed iPhones 8 seemingly to properly replace it with an SE "pair" but didn't? And what the hell it got delayed till H2 2021??
My rough guess is they knew that if they put a Plus out now it'd really drag down their iPhone 12's plan there's no other logical explanation.
There's nothing about it that is "SE". It's a rebadged iPhone 8, and is thus missing all the things that made the SE stand out -- small and light weight.
The price is acceptable at least.
+1. Its Apple, reliable, powerfull, safe
+2. Not from China manufacturer (no calling home)
+3. Lightweight
-1. Small battery
-2. Outdated design
The battery life is a joke.

For the same spec, Android 4.7 inches LCD screen, single camera with Touch ID 64 GB would probably be sold for $75...
I think 4.7" might be ideal for one-handed use, if all you do is tapping and swiping.
Certain actions such as swiping from the top would require two hands on larger phones.
For TYPING however, maximising the screen area would not hurt. When the keyboard is active on these small phones, the current app gets only about half the screen size to show its stuff on.
Android fans opinion is irrelevant as this phone is not targeting them .
No android user will switch and visa versa. If the phone is topping the trending phones on site then it will sell as planned period
If this had respectable battery I would already have ordered to replace my iPhone 7. But not like this, sorry.
Can’t wait for the 5.4in iPhone 12. I might as well pre order now if it is a strong model and not some budget version.
battery capacity forces me to not care about this one. nowadays i just wont buy a less than 4000mAh powered phone regardless of 7 or 5nm or even if there would be 1nm fabrication processed SoC. thats why samsung M31 look so sexy with 6000mAh
The battery is just too small. This is my main problem with the 6s I am using.

This is actually very good result, not even Apple flagship phones get this kind of positive reception
Another sign that sales with this phone will be through the roof
