Why not buy Xiaomi over Samsung? For US who play games etc. Xiaomi is and was better overall live gaming smartphone, bigger screen,battery,mimo WiFi internet conection and even playing on the charger,just little temperature on hands,when Samsung at that point goes black 🤔
And with Pocophone F1,first biggest game changer.. I was playing on Xiaomi Mi Max 2,and enjoyed and for 280+€ was superb phone,in 2017/18

It started somewhere at 500€ and dropped nearly to 300€ after a few months, the price in retail stores was 500€ before the whole corona crap began and all the markets closed and I don't know if they will drop or go higher when they reopen... If k30 pro won't drop at least at 400€ I don't see it getting many sales here.

every consumer in here still prefers a Samsung or an iPhone over an unknown Chinese brand with not very good build quality or customer support, plus the K30 pro has very little upgrade from K20 pro, so many people will pass on this for this price.

I don't care much for the brand since I was just waiting for the k30 pro to arrive in Europe in some form for it's notchless Snapdragon 865 but if the price for the 3.1 UFC DDR5 variant won't drop to 400-500€ I better wait one more year for the more improved rumored Snapdragon 875 with 5nm... After all i needed the top specs for 3DS emulation and the official Citra ain't out yet so I don't have any reason to rush for a purchase. And let the world recover from the pandemic so prices hopefully drop more xD
By the way I thought they will release this phone in Europe with 4G only to drop the price, was this a false rumor?

Waiting for poco F2 is like the return of the Undertaker, we have to wait no matter how long and when he come he defeat his competitor and that is Poco F1. And now we wait and keep waiting but when he return we know Brock Lesner will defeat him and that is Poco F2. We know undertaker is not the same anymore and so Poco F2.

Portugal has higher VAT than most places. The Private Copy Tax is stupid, but it's fixed based on capacity. it's quite insignificant on smartphones, it's more noticeable in larger storage devices like HDD.

Pocophone F1 used to be a unique phone but now all of its succesors are just scam-offs of other redmi phones.
I'm hoping that with the pocophone F3/ F3 pro, poco starts going back to the extreme price/performance ratio. I really miss it.

At 650 Euros, it is absolute trash without any doubt. Pay a bit more, and get an LG V60.

They should have made a phone with this:
1 - Plastic construction like the original pocophone f1 but new design (that would keep the price low)
2 - Snapdragon 865 (that would call the enthusiasts because it's what everyone wants, top performance/price ratio)
3 - Starting at 6GB/64, 6GB/128, 8GB/256 (again keeping the price low)
4 - Two cameras only, main sensor good quality (photo/video quality shouldn't be what poco is focused and most people only point and shoot, keeping the price low)
5 - No IP rating/ no wireless charge (keeping the price low)
6 - 4000 mAh battery (keeping the price low)
7 - Fingerprint rear or side (no need in screen optical and keeping price low)
8 - Fast charging 18W (more than enough and keeping price low)
9 - Decent IPS LCD with 90Hz (keeping the price low but giving us 90Hz)
Start this at around 400. It would be a major success in sales all over the world.

I was hoping for the zoom edition of K30Pro to start from 700EURO in Europe. But if the normal 256GB version is more than 700 the zoom will be more than 800? Or will not come to EU at all...
Are they stupid or something this year? OnePlus too...
I'll just wait 2-3 months for S20+ to drop under 800EURO and get back to Samsung's wagon and we'll never look at Chinese brands again. From Samsung and Apple at least I have proper technical support and local warranty in my country if I must pay the same amount of money...

The only reason anyone might consider this over a Samsung flagship is the SoC. But even then most people will choose a Samsung phone over a Xiaomi phone. And if Samsung can actually make a decent flagship exynos SoC basically every Chinese brand besides Huawei is dead in Europe at least in the flagship space.
