It seems with all the Xiaomi very embarrassing, dishonorable and extreme business destruction news as of recently, OnePlus has stepped up to the plate and has folded.

OnePlus has finally admitted to the failures from their overhyped display (looking at you DisplayMate for your fake A+ grading) the Black Crush issues.

What's sad is, a few readers here were extremely apologetic just for the sake of hating against Apple mainly.

What now, apologists?

"It is positioned in the middle ground between a flagship killer and an actual flagship beast and while it's a solid phone there's better value to be found elsewhere."

What?! No praises! You had me snorting up my cereal up my nose with that HONEST assessment.

I like it how sony is bringing back the 3.5mm while also keeping the capacitive f/p sensor, by the way. I also like it how they are going to offer the ‘true’ (front-firing) stereo speakers. 60Hz is the only let down in their new flagship (Xperia 1 m ii).

They first take the useful & tried-&-tested stuff (capacitive touch + 3.5mm) out of devices & then brag about new (inferior) stuff in the name of innovation. Ridiculous!

I wonder afterall what made people go so crazy over the edged displays when Samsung featured them on their phones being the first back in the days.

Except that the iPhone have a notch which is full of useful sensors and which, on iOS doesn't interfere much with the use of the phone (on iOS only few icons are on the status bar), unlike the punch hole which is stupid as it host a single camera only and is an annoying disturbance and a nuisance to the notification & status bar.
And curved edge display is a curse, which is why I like to call them "cursed edges dis-astrous-play", they make the phone fragile, susceptible to glares and difficult to read on the edges, there is many undesired tactile issues, it make the phone having less internal space, it is more expensive to make and it make getting a protection screen hard and costly to get...

I can not believe the iPhone 11 has more value than the 1+ 8, yeah sure the 8 beats the s**t out of the 11 in display and ergonomics, but that camera department is the biggest joke of the year, not only the main sensor is behind competition, but a cheap stupid macro lens instead of a telefoto in a 700$ android device, seriously??!!
