DxOMark scored the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip right below the iPhone XS Comments

Isn't the score lower than those other phones also because it lacks a camera, the telephoto one? Isn't DxO scoring each type of them then summing up? Of course it is lower, it lacks part of the score. Doesn't mean the other two cameras are that bad.

That BS lol. Every company invest on marketing dept, for bussiness. What about last year Note 10? On the top for a month, remember? The way i sees it, when some favourite brands on the top, its okay. But when its not, accusing DxO are paid higher. Thats just childish.
And its not about being better hardware or not. The fail part on Samsung S20 Ultra camera are on its software (mainly Nonacell technique, with no DPAF) where now been updated over & over again in order to improve.

And theres something about its strong reddish tones.

Anonymous, 01 May 2020Funny how dxo staff says their s20 ultra did not show any AF issues, unlike all retail units. Coz the autofocus issues are already fixed. AUTOFOCUS might be slower compared to the one on regular S20 or Find X2 pro or p40 pro, but those issues have been fixed.

I got to be honest, the camera has never been my concern about the Z Flip. It's about sheer compact portability.

I know and I feel that DxOMark is somewhat fishy.. but considering that there are only two camera on the Z flip, maybe 105 points is enough... Although why does it got low autofocus when the processing and hardware is the same with the S10 family which the S10+ plus got higher autofocus (97) than the Z flip (88)

No one buys the Z Flip for its camera, no one buying it cares if it's a top 50 camera or not.

Ultra has the weakest AF of all phones since 2010,... moreIf it turns out like that, then S20 Ultra score will be way lower than now. Every flagship sent to DxO likely have the same amount of quotation to be paid. All that lab & studio test, outdoor 1500 pics tested, was not a free service.
Now because of the payment involvement, I think both DxO & Samsung made an agreement to reveal the score a bit late (will affect sales if early) with additional score on its AF more than it should. At least DxO give face to Samsung instead put it on the bottom of the earth lol.

The only Huawei over the top colors are on P20 series.
