For majority of users, you can't get fully functioning play services on p40 pro like p30 pro.
The modded play services that you can install on p40 pro won't work with
1) Google pay and other worldwide payment services.
2)No HDR on Netflix even though screen supports it.
3) No games which require you to pay thru play services.
Also it's stability and security is debatable compared to proper non modded play services.

Bobi7x7, 05 May 2020Nope thanks i take the P40 Pro and Install GMS by myself why do you need to buy a phone with no GMS with such an effort to install one lol you pay a lot then it must be worth it out of the box. Pay much and give a lot not pay much and there is a lack.

stop making phones already just make dslr if your a worthy opponent to camera industry tho. mobile phone lenses are too small that can't compete to dslr so if your good in photos really why not compete with dslr.

The Kirin 990 is within the US restrictions to use Google Services. All Kirin 990 or 810 powered Huawei devices has HMS instead of GMG because of this restriction.

seems another marketing ploy. What is next the New Huawei P40 pro with extra ram. I.M.O I really don't see the point. the only bonus I suppose its not a 2016 design like iPhone SE(2020).

Whatever bullshit the Americans are coming up with, the trade war has been one sided in its effect. Kudos to Huawei being still able to compete.
