Whenever I play Minecraft pe in my phone the cpu heats very very much so I had to switch off the phone to cool down
It is very hot that even I can boil water on it !

This processor is a waste of money my 2 year old phone with SD636 run smooth on games low - medium setting
but this helio g85 have constant frame drops on lowest possible setting even opening 2 tab of chrome window and facebook phone blackout screen for few seconds😭

I would say it sucks when it comes to gaming especially on mobile legends and codm some say pubgm lags on g85 device .

'EE' means execute engine, while 'MC' means multi core
In this case, Mali G52 2EEMC2 = 2 core gpu with 2 execute engine for each core of the gpu

Anonymous, 08 May 2020Exynos CPU is gonna be the bottleneck or gimping factor.How so? They are not making custom large cores anymore. Don't know if they will be stock or shortly modified. But such things are what had exynos having a superior CPU in most cases from Galaxy S1 to s8.

G85 is a nice addition to the Helio G series. Mediatek is doing a good job with the affordable gaming range.

They claimed it perform 3x better than SD865 in GPU. Its official go search yourself.

You préfet believing an article based on a single benchmark called PCMark :
- when it wasn't updated since summer of 2017, it's easy to verify : simply go on Play Store
- when this one doesn't use Mediatek's performance cores. Easy to verify too...
PCMark knows the problem since 2018 and do nothing to repaire their app.
Author of the article know the problem and refuse to do further tests.
Who is the more dishonnest ?
- a soc's company that do task scheduling optimisation with 5% improvements?
- a benchmark's company that trolls the first one by 30 or 70%
- a Media that make partial and uncomplete tests
Did you prefer a condemned company for it's anti competitive behavior?
