Scoop, 28 May 2012you seem to get swayed away very easily by marketing claims that you & me we do not know &... moreWho said anything about quality. Money is money, and that's all businesses care about. A Facebook phone will never be about the technology. It will most likely be more about the user experience. You don't need to have the best tech to be the best phone for most individuals. aka the Kindle Fire.
its still the face-book app we see today on all android and apple mobile...so what the point?attract face-book freaks??
Whatchasay, 28 May 2012Why is everyone so against a facebook phone? Especially since it's not even confirmed and the... moreyou seem to get swayed away very easily by marketing claims that you & me we do not know & cannot vouch for!!
Again " Best selling Android tablet".....does not mean that build & quality is truly amazing!!
Kindle looks & feels like a cheap chinese gizmo that I would not glance at it again, let alone use it!!
So the point is you want to innovate ,yes do that!!
you want to give us groundbreaking technology yes yes!!
But you want to flood the market with another phone for crying out loud, think again Mark!!!
I am sure that FB has other things on the agenda after the IPO debacle!
Facebook cant even put in a dislike button. no chance could they build a phone!!
Super Saiyan, 28 May 2012Why r you getting so worked up?? How do you know this is even confirmed as true? Organisations of that size have the resources & arrogance to pull off something like that without asking consumers first! hence just a thought expressed mate!!! anyways this whole circus is unwarranted for!! Personally I think if FB diversifies tne portfolio that will give them better revenue rather than these frivolous indulgences.!!
Anyway just like the way Russell Peter's says "Whatever makes you happy" !!
Why is everyone so against a facebook phone? Especially since it's not even confirmed and there are no details about it. After all, the "Best Selling Android Tablet" is the Kindle Fire.

8.Result is , we get beautiful android devices without OEM bloatwares.

By topic on Twitter I meant general subject of what you post about in that account.
Facebook is for social shit. or something.
Oh and Facebook and Twitter are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.
The only purpose of Twitter is to post short messages quickly to a large audience. You don't need to tell your real name or give any personal information about yourself, and the topic can be pretty much whatever.
Facebook is the kind of MySpace 2.0
Facebook sucks, and this "Facebook Phone" is nonsense.
It's a bad idea. What sense does it make to buy their restricted version of Android.
I assume they will trick people into buying this crap by intentionally making the free Android app bad, so that people who want full functionality should get the phone. Yeah... nope.
Why would anyone buy a mobile device centred solely around one social networking site? This won't appeal to tech savvy customers.
What the ROFL?!
Why in the eff do we need a specialized 'button' to do the work when you could easily click on to the FB bookmark on the phone and access it?!
Pure stupidity in this one.
well the thread says it all
"using software/hardware developers from Apple"
so yet another useless phone will be release oh joy..
GrimyHR, 28 May 20121. google owns motorola 2. motorola makes phones conclusion: google makes phones!Google's purchase of Motorola has only just been accepted and complete so theres no actual Google/Motorola phone out yet geez other wise I would had mentioned it.
