Guess you better add them to the list of companies whose phones you shouldn't be using due to data collection, huh? Can't use Android at all because Google, being one of the top offenders for anti-privacy practices, owns Android and GMS, huh?

At that price point of maxim 10% profit margin on phone what do you expected? All brands and companies does the same thing. DON'T trust any brand what they are doing with your information. Period. DON'T keep precious information on your smartphone or mask it to be simple number and letter with no meaning.

Alex 94, 06 May 2020Like Apple and Samsung to. Don't blame Xiaomi, cause others doing the same thing. You should not go there if you do not wanna come off as being a shill. Wasn't it Xiaomi's motto a few years back to be the opposite of Apple?

But, now, it wants to rewrite its playbook when they gets called out for their BS?

There's a word(s) for that you know.

30 million unsave devices marks a absurdly, to say the least, achievement to for consumers to celebrate.

But, when you are a dishonest company that has fooled in the tens/hundreds-of-millions of innocent consumers, well, bring out the Champaign glasses, right?
