Jake420, 07 May 2020Lol 735? Doesn't the v60 cost 800$? Best be a typo and be 375$ now that's okay pricingDon't compare LG with Chinese Phone you dumb fvck! It got IP68 and QuadDAC (i hope so). Well.. This phone should get pricing around $450 - $600 to compete with Oneplus 8 or Z. Fvck Chinese brand.

Rear design of this phone certainly looks appealing, but IMO LG V60 is overall more interesting and needs to be available globally.

Price has always been LG's problem. For such a price, oneplus 8 is hands down a better option even though LG probably has a better build and camera setup... unless LG decreases the price and offers Android One support. I still don't understand if there is any significant demand for LG UI for them to keep flying that ship.... take a lesson from nexus 5, LG!

If you didn't notice so far, the prices of the phones are up. Currently the Chinese flagships are just below 1000 USD. This phone is a breath of a fresh air with its rear design (this year trending lego block cameras are peace of $#it ). It is 5g and is compatible with some military endurance standard, so not so bad for the money.
I believe it will be successful in Korea and in few months when the price will drop to 500 Euro also in Europe.

Dude, iPhones literally have best CPUs on the market. How high are you to try justifying 735 for an SD 765

I think that Qualcomm has single handedly ruined every OEM reputation out there. Good move Qualcomm with overpriced junk! 5g at its best!

LG, ....mark my words, this will be another flop because of the price, no chance of success. you should just concentrate on the V60 Global Rom sales.
Seriously....$735 dollars for mid tiered chipset SD765G, 4300Mah battery.....why pay that when you can get your own flagshp V60ThinQ for only USD $800, or $900 with the dual screen!
So your marketing is saying people will buy this pretty but otherwise mid tiered fone and pay top dollars, why.... when it cost only $65 to upgrade to your V60 flagship with huge battery and chipset for the flagship???

Seriously LG, whomever does your marketing must be something wrong in their minds. Who gives a hoot how pretty it is when it s not a match in very single other specs department and $65 dollars more for all the hardware upgrades!!
The V60 is the way to go it ticks all the right boxes where it counts minus the the unnecessary premium price like the S20 series and all the other premium chinese flagships!
Please Sell the Dual Sim and Global Rom at the same prices of $900 USD and I can foresee guarantee you success as my family alone will buy 2 immediately and pretty sure our peers will do the same!
All these pretty gimmicky nonsense are useless for the well informed practical people, curve screen pretty looks etc.....all are on the surface only; you were on the right path with V60 with mostly rave reviews everywhere because of the price and specs that are hard to ignore, skip fancy looks, curve screen, highest resolution with 144 Htz refresh all at the expense of battery life and rice but NOT a necessity where it counts e.g. Battery, screen size, Dual Sim, Global Rom, etc !!
At the end of the day consumers are not stupid, especially with Covid-19 people are shutting their purse and it will get you nowhere, look at samsung s20 sales down 30% compared with S10 this time last year; so unless you intend to sell for $500USD it is destined to fail at this price, I will eat my shoe otherwise.
Ven iphone recognises this now, with New iphone SE, we are not all sheeps!

Curved screen (dual edge and waterfall) cost more than flat screen of same specs.
Cutouts make screen more expensive than full screen of same specs.

Useless features that have no benefit, just ncrease factory costs.

Now they are trying the same, underperforming device for a flagship price!?

Well... It's pretty, but it's not $735 pretty. It's been problem with LG for a long time, their phones have one of the highest build quality on the market (completely blows cheap brands like Xiaomi out of the water), but they always butcher it with price, which is completely out of reality.

I'm gonna say this though, it'd be great if this camera design (each sensor having its own glass) sticked in as a new standard. I always watch in horror how manufacturers push to make the module glass as big as possible with all cams under the same glass. No wonder so many people shatter cover glass on their Galaxy S20 Ultra - can't beat physics!

Worth Less the money quoted for selling even in home country, then how will LG catch the world market...? Is my question correct??? For reference see the specs...
