Both have audio quality as good as the iPhone of that time, plus reasonable camera and bloatware removable right from the starting, so I removed Mi and Google apps. It still works speedily. Although in recent phones, this has changed.
I got an idea for you- how about first you actually own a Mi, then talk about it online... ?

I'm so fed up, I didn't even update firmware on my old Mi phone.

Anyhow, I'm not the one who complained Mi10 is expensive, check the comments.
I own the very first edition of Redmi 2 Prime and I'm happy with its good speed, great audio quality in earphones, no bloat setup (even google apps are removable) and reasonable camera.
For now, I don't want anything else, specially not a bloated crap like Mi10. I have a DSLR and I have 2 high speed laptops too, so I'm covered.

All phones steal personal data and you know Facebook and Google has abused them for the sake of targeted ads. Xiaomi phones come with GMS on board.
If you value user privacy, just use a wired or satellite phone, that'll be better in my opinion.

And if a flagship iPhone cost as much as the OnePlus 8 then it would literally destroy the Chinese competition in India. FYI, neither the Mi 10 and OnePlus 8 series has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
piku, 09 May 2020LOL, google is a ad company so stop using android At least Google uses it to provide you with relevant and helpful information. What does Xiaomi do with its user data other than sending it to obscure servers in authoritarian/totalitarian China?

So please don't complain if you can't buy a handset like the Mi 10. India price, compared to other flagships and global price, is already very reasonable, given the features and surprisingly build quality. We are getting expensive flagships here, only low-end phones cost extremely cheap.

If I don't agree to do the job for $200, someone else will agree and take my place. There's too much supply of talented personnel, just not enough demand.
The only reasonable solution is to develop a very rare skill (again, who will teach me that when its rare?) or to move to another country.
Xiaomi should have priced Mi 10 at 45k in India then xiaomi could have sold way more units currently it is priced at 50k and just adding 5k you can get Oneplus 8 Pro with QHD display,IP68 rating and telephoto camera
They failed to put Bluetooth 5 in MiTv !?

In my country in SE Asia any phone, including Chinese, that costs $500 above will attract some taxes. realme X2 Pro costed like $500-550 when new. I thought Oppo Find X2 Pro and Huawei P40 Pro would cost less than S20, but in fact they cost the same as the S20+ here.
And my country is a country with a similar market to India.

Its easy to sit in a first world country and make judgments, but I know the situation down here. Its terrible, specially after Corona lockdown.
As for the local prices, we're getting Galaxy S20 for Rs. 66000, and Mi10, a chinese phone for Rs. 50,000. K20 Pro in comparison is Rs. 27,000. Just saying. Not making conclusions.
Everything has a reason. Try seeing it.
Although yes, some Indians are surely miserly, I would admit it without stereotyping all of us.

We Indians Bla... moreI don't care what you are talking about, but you should appreciate that Chinese phones with good specs sell cheaper. Yet you guys complain. Mi 10 sells less than $700 in India when other countries sell it like $1000 above. Base Mi 10 in some countries cost nearly the same as S20+ or iPhone 11 Pro Max. It's really disturbing that they keep bargaining an already value priced phone. It's simple, if you can't buy it then don't.
I actually really want the Mi 10 badly (or Find X2) but it may cost a lot in SE Asia to replace my slow Samsung. Will hear more news soon.
MadRich, 09 May 2020Price is too high for them.Because they can't work hard enough and complain about already reasonably priced phones. I've heard some Indian asking $200 for a SD865 phone. It's not going to happen unless it's a plastic bendable phone.
