But for Nokia's case it's 'Stephen Elop' (Microsoft poster boy) who burned it to the ashes. Nokia N9 with MeeGo was in right direction but got destroyed in his hand by giving more attention to MS operating system.
XCIV, 11 May 2020The feeling of shattering the glass back of your phone every time I drop it is never pleasing.... moreIf those phones were so innovative, why aren't you using them? Nobody's stopping you to go back and use those phone. :P
And if you drop and break every smartphone you bought, the problem is probably with you, as millions of people are not having that issue.
I'm getting dizzy just watching this guy browse the web. That is why Apple beat them. That's what Steve Jobs was talking about. It's about usability.
"Nokia": Ixnay on the etro-ray! Stop reminding people why they stopped buying our stuff!
Phones were so good that they went from a giant to extinct in a few years. They should make a case study out of Nokia as to how NOT to run a company in business classes.

XCIV, 11 May 2020The feeling of shattering the glass back of your phone every time I drop it is never pleasing.... moreOwned a few in my time , overated and buggy OS.
I had seen such phones with my friends. They aged fast because of bad resistive screens. At the same time Nokia C3 I had at the same time, still runs without any issues. I want a Kai OS version of Nokia C3 as WhatsApp, youtube etc stopped in C3 or S40 series in common for some time. I cannot rely on Jiophone 2 which is the only QWERTY Kai OS phone in the world, as my Jiophone 1 has keypad and range issues within an year while C3 never had one issue for 11 years.

They already tried gaming phones with N-Gage back in 2003. They even had a dedicated camera phone (808). Now that's innovation. Not just bezel-less displays and what not.
I had the C3-01 during my initial college days and I loved its haptic feedback. The subtle feedback on touching the UI buttons was so satisfying which I've never experienced on any other phone.
Ah, it brings back memory about Nokia X2-03 TT.
Honestly I do not see any important things in this Nokia. This is not a memorable phone after all. It is so different with Nokia 5800 or even Nokia 8210.
I'm still using my Nokia X3-02 feature phone, Its one of the best phone tht I ever used, I am looking forward to buy another feature phone for calling and other purposes as I don't carry like to use smartphones much and I really wish Nokia to re-launch X3-02 a 4G feature phone with all its amazing features. I would definately buy that
Ahhh, eBuddy lol, that unlocked some memories
in my head
YUKI93, 10 May 2020And then BlackBerry did the same thing with the Passport.Yeah. But it's too much big.
