since Realme is launching so many smartphones with the Mediatek Helio gaming series, my next guess is they'd launch a phone with helio G85 soon

It's just that change in the CPU which has made Helio G80 a bit better than Helio G70 processor.

That is a good choice by Realme. We need more gaming soc and the Helio series have already proven its capability - excited to see the Helio G80's performance.

CompactPhones5ever, 09 May 2020Ad: "FEEL THE POWER!!111!!§" Phone: Mediatek G80 Yawn, wake me up next week when Narz... moreG80 is still miles better than a 2014's Snapdragon 625 or Mediatek 6752. It's even a tad better than Helio P60, and the dual cores are great for their price. Now you get A75 cores for under $100 while the expensive phones are raging with A77 cores. Soon, there should be A76 cores for less than $250. I do feel the A55 needs a bump. A57? A56?

AnonD-844967, 09 May 2020Narzo is a rebranded realme 6i. And I don't think that narzo would be a sub-sub brand. "Narzo is a rebranded realme 6i"

have you checked realme 5 series family?
realme 5i just rebranded realme 5,
then realme 5 is just rebranded from realme 5 pro but fitted with cheaper soc..
I guess I know where new iPhone SE 2020 learn from :p
