The phone looks solid. For some reason i would like to buy a Meizu phone but their phones don't have the necessary LTE bands and now 5G bands that would play nice with GSM Networks like TMobile USA. Please OEMs..why not just include global bands in these phones. The a major drawback.

Although I perfectly happy with my 90hz panel with 240hz touch. 120hz or even 144hz be impressive.

But wow.... 90hz is still very very very good....

Now try comparing with 60hz... What a huge difference...

Now... I play PUBG at 90FPS on a 90hz screen... I repeat... I play PUBG at 90FPS... Yes. That is correct... 90FPS... How? I use hex editor to change the FPS String value to unlock the cap of 60FPS.

So when you have 90FPS on a 90Hz screen... For me it is too smooth and too quick. But I love it... But I certainly will not be turning down a new phone with 120hz or better still 144hz gaming smartphone... That's for sure... Oh. And what ever you do... Don't buy ijunk... absolutely a waste of time... choppy iOS and not good hardware compared to Android at all.

diantro, 11 May 2020Meizu and update in the same sentence... Meizu update their Chinese ROM (A) very regularly.
Use only English and you don't need the Global ROM.
The 120Hz update, some already received it in China.

Hardware has to support it.

Software has to have the feature built into it.

Anonymous, 11 May 2020May Someone Tell Me If Refresh Rate Is Related To Hardware Or Software. It's, of course, a Hardware thing to have your screen panel supporting 120, however, maybe it was, but only the software was limiting it to 90. still doesn't make any sense

Maybe early adopters will get update to push refresh rate to 120hz, but newly manufactured phones will have different hardware?
