Besides the fact it just a false sense of sec... moreYou pay for the common platform and the cloud storage , meaning if cameras get stolen or the power is cut you can still see the footage up to that point from anywhere. This also means an expensive good dvr is not needed.

Besides the fact it just a false sense of security buying a wifi camera instead of a wired camera, they charge you monhtly too?
There are wifi cameras with sd cards inside them for cold storage and no need to pay anything monthly for them
+ their quality sucks, you can't even read a car plate or see a proper face with them.
