It was just talk. It's going to take more than a phone full of specs and gimmicks to top the mobile market. I'm talking to you Huawei fans. Enthusiasm only goes so far.

All the signs ar telling me that Sony is pulling their interest out of the normal consumer market and putting it into the professionals market. All the great featuers that their flagships offer is of no use to an average person. But many professionals, especially those in the movie industry, speak highly of it. Many indie filmakers say it's a must have for viewfinding, location hunting, and in some rare cases, shooting.

For example, in my country they stopped selling Sony phones now.
There is no point in getting one imported when you can buy something as good as it, at way cheaper price.
Besides, the reason they stopped selling is coz of poor sales. The poor sales were a direct result of Sony overpricing flagships in my country compared to Samsung and others.
The best example of Sony overpricing is Sony launching the Xperia 10 II with SD665@385 Dollars.
Now who's gonna buy SD665 when you can get SD855 phones with almost everything better at the same price?

I'm ready to give up on... moreWhat I can't forgive Sony is that they removed Xperia Actions and Sketch app. Luckily I still have both on XZ2, but if I want a new Xperia I'll have to rely on 3rd party apps that don't work that well and contain tons of ads. But, sadly, there are not (m)any viable alternatives in the android world?? Samsung with Exynos is a no-go, Huawei lost Google services. HTC is gone.
An alternative to Xperia? Maybe Pixel, or Chinese manufacturers.

They're fixing all the bugs, especially with the photo pro app.
