I'd rather buy a proper functional tablet with the functionality of Windows 10 like the Surface Pro 7. Later iterations of the same will be slimmer and have less bezels, etc.

same body size, larger screen, what do you mean by lost it? the 9.7 was replaced by 10.2, now without increasing the body size, they will narrow down the borders to look more modern, what do you mean by lost it? So, when you see those big bezels, you say apple is so dated with their designs, now they are narrowing them, and you say they lost it. It's hard to satisfy people like you.

If they go slim bezels and faceID like the iPad pro with the new mini, it can retain the same body size as the current one with the 9" display.
I just wish for a 16:9 aspect ratio, so all the games will look great.

Guessing (hoping) these larger screens (if true) are just a result of moving to flat sided more Pro-like designs for the Air 10.5 & Mini, not from appreciably larger housings.
