A moment of silence for people who bought a brand new Redmi Note 9/9 Pro (India) or Redmi Note 9 Pro/9 Pro Max (India).
This is a downgrade, smaller battery, notch instead of hole punch, 3 cameras instead of 4.
What tf are Xiaomi doing???
Xiaomi is going berserk. Soon they will have more models than the entire competition put together. This is impossible for support. Where are the good old times when xiaomi had 3 phones in total mi5 and redmi/note 3. Pure madness...
Finally... AMOLED ! and sd slot !!
Good job Xiaomi!

This is the formal return from Redmi to use that tech.
And I think that is NOT the Redmi Note 10... is the Redmi Note 5G

Antutu may not tell a complete story, but it does tell a significant part of the story.
1st gen redmi note phone with OLED display is going to have a nerfed OLED. bad quality display.

Sd 720G is very stable, with constant and fluid experience and phone will get 2 years stable android update. On the other hand, mtk have great potential, much bigger than Qualcomm, and competitive is best for us buyers.
Not completely sure this phone will be named as 'Redmi Note 10'. It can still be conceivably named as 'Redmi Note 9C' or 'Redmi Note 9 (China)'.
Redmi Note 10 is designed precisely to match Honor X10, in terms of SoC, feature set, price, etc. D820 has high thermal efficiency, so a 4420mAh battery is acceptable.
Redmi Note 10 Pro will be announced after Honor X10 Pro is launched.
This is essentially the Chinese version of Redmi Note 9 Pro. Originally Xiaomi wanted to include this phone as Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. But at the last minute, Xiaomi had decided not to show its hands before the launch of Honor 10X series. Redmi Note series is designed to compete against Honor 10X (X10) series in its domestic market for 2020. For that purpose, Xiaomi's management had agonized over its choice of SoC for several months, trying out many versions of D800 and many versions of SD765G.
D820 is the new name for Dimensity 800+. Performance-wise, D820 is slightly below Kirin820, but a major step up from SD720G.
SD720G: Antutu v8: ~270000;
D820: Antutu v8: >360000;
Kirin820: Antutu v8: ~390000.
