OnePlus is a fkin joke now. They only know how to follow trends, which is ironic to their slogan. Now they've lived long enough to become the exact thing they sought to resist. What a pity.

Fayth, 16 May 2020But the wireless stem is unique to AppleSame way it must have been unique to the first company that used it on their earphone. Apple simply implemented it on their airpod, it's nothing new, it has been around for decades. It's definitely not an innovation. It's not imaginative or creative. It wasn't done before probably because it's not a good looking design for wiresless earbuds.
If it wasn't Apple that used that design, it'd still be getting truckloads of critiques, but we know that whatever Apple do will be bought by their loyal customers and praised by their fanboys. And because they are almost always very costly, relatively, it'd be used as cosmetic by some people and to show social status. This explains to good extent why some OEMs, especially smaller ones, copy them. "If it sells, why not," they must think.
That I don't like them doesn't mean that others wouldn't. And if users don't like them as much as people say on these online comment sections, then they'd not sell. And when they don't sell, OEMs would switch to another design, knowing that it's not well-received. But we all know the reality—they sell!

and it really funny when everyone say everything with this shape is apple ripoff but it's okay when mi airdots, audio technica's tws and several others come out with similar design. apple really renting free in your head huh?

I remember when we use to make fun of those creepy earbuds back when apple announced it, know I feel like a fool, not because the design has grown on me, but because I used to think consumers have any say in what they should like and what they should not.
