1/60s is enough to freeze motion, the problem is all phones from other brands cant refocus between frames that fast. No other brand does burst with AF.

What is this "BIONZ X for mobile"? Is it a software solution? I have searched the Internet but all I have got are some meaningless rephrasing of the typical advertisement.

Previous Xperia got nothing to do with Alpha camera's tech (except eye AF & CinemaPro on X1). Just an average performance with lazy image processing.
At least now they wake up. Better late than never.

Apple have released the new ipad pro, iPhone SE and the "revolutionary" apple wheels. Samsung has released more A series phones that I could count. OnePlus have released the most expensive phones in their history. Xiaomi and Realme are on fire. The Huawei ban has been extended ( not that it stopped them from flooding the market with crippled software phones). Oh, and a pandemic has spread around the world.

I dare anyone to take the perfect shot with that slow poke shutter - you have to press the shutter 0,5 sec before the moment you want to capture, so good luck with that.

Sony well known as the best take on Autofocus in actual camera world.
Looks like this implementation on Xperia maybe makes it as the best fast-moving image captured on a smartphone, ever. At least now Sony has something to brag about.

Unlike other brands that use Nikon Full Frame and claim their photos took the photos.

But he does cover up for certain shortcomings for LG phones.
I wish he started his in depth camera reviews for all models as he did back in the day for Pocketnow.

The P40 pro on the other hand was announced and released in March.
