This is good. Because at the end, this will make developed countries R&D their own technology not related and no dependent of the USA one. So the global market will have a lot of alternatives and no one will have a dominant position. So good for customers at the end. It's only a matter of time that it'll happen. No one will want to depend of foreign politics games, their caprices and power control in business. There is where your freedom ends under some goverments, USA included.

[deleted post]Very insightful statement. I can see that you've put a great amount of effort into writing that masterfully written comeback.
NotAnOpinion, 19 May 2020Where's your proof that the US government has no proof? See how that works both ways?Oh. it's you again!!

See how that works both ways?
>Unjustified
>Literally working directly with the CCP Red Army
>Caught with lot of backdoors left on their Network devices
>Can't sue them because they are almost government owned
Ah yes, truly a sad and unfair destiny here /s
If the US only wanted Huawei to not be associated with American companies, they would do only that, and that would be justified. But now they are going above and beyond to get countries and companies to side with them to make Huawei's life hard without concrete proof. That's what's unjustified.
[deleted post]Yeah, mine and many others on here has been seized. If they are not, they are definitely too sensitive to facts.
Anon, 19 May 2020Why the ban? Like the US, you look scared. Apple iphone. Same ol' same ol'. Case close, homer."Why the ban?"
Why are there laws/rules?
You know the answer(s).
rabinossauro, 19 May 2020A lot to be said... But i want to actually be able to comment. Its bad news for Huawei but, ... moreSums it up nicely!
Why China banned VPN because using Huawei spy on you by government. USA still used VPN hmmm

[deleted post]"When USA can't innovate or compete, this is what they do"
Let's take a short-sighted look at that twisted statement.
It's the USs INNOVATION that Huawei's partners uses and China with its billion plus people, after decades of help from the US to build its 3rd-world country around 3-4 decades ago, China still does not have the INTELLIGENCE to lean off the USs banana and become independent?
Alllrriiiiighty, then!
a, 19 May 2020Chian: ban google(in 2010), youtube (2009), facebook (2009), instagram (2014), twitter (2009),... morethe companies in your list are software related and not hardware. So I think it is not fair. The fight should be like huawei and apple or microsoft or qualcomm.
Anonymous, 19 May 2020China banned them because they didn't follow chinese rules. But huawei did nothing wrong. ... moreInteresting. What rules did Google defuse to follow?
A lot to be said... But i want to actually be able to comment.
Its bad news for Huawei but, expectable given Trump's closed-mindedness. Really hope they come out on top. The more competition, the merrier for the consumer... Seems like some People still havent understood that companies only want your money, indepedentely of their country of origin.
Anonymous, 19 May 2020China banned them because they didn't follow chinese rules. But huawei did nothing wrong. ... moreThe rule they didnt follow is "Government censorship". They bar banned because they did right thing to do
Huawei should concentrate on europe asia and south america on my opinion.
A 250k petition can easily be done to have basis and argue in courts that people want this technology and an "European" (or whatever name) Version should be made outside of US( since Google is based in Ireland).
There're millions of Android users worldwide and a small fingered president of a single country should not have say on that matter.
Separate servers, so no national security issues.
Simple and costly solution, but Google themselves want to carry on making business with Huawei which is bringing billions.
This is my say (European using Huawei devices)
Peace
It's tit and tat for US and China. Bigger question is since tsmc can't trade with Huawei. What stop China increasing their value of rare earth minerals, to counter act this. Or ban tsmc, Samsung hell Qualcomm buying their silicon or any of their rare earth minerals. America's earth minerals still are still 5 to 6 years behind China. Final issue China is the world’s second largest holder of US government debt, with about US$1.1 trillion worth of US Treasury bonds in its foreign reserves. The ability to start dumping its massive pile of Treasury bonds that could trigger a surge in interest rates and substantially damage the American economy.
