rcl4444, 01 Jun 2012I agree with you that S2 to S3 is not as big of a jump. But S3 will still outsell S2, just no... moreIt is a decent jump. Maybe not quite as huge, but huge non the less. When things get much more intensive the S3 would shine over S2.
S1 oc'd still has amazing performance. Doesn't make the S2 minimal to it
Vali, 01 Jun 2012pls stop referring to all Android handsets as "droids"Why. That is a perfectly fine and well accepted way to respond to them as a whole
Xena, 01 Jun 2012I have to agree with you. I am not an iPhone fan... in fact, I had the Galaxy S before and the... moreActually incorrect. If The S2 and S3 were to be the only top droids around then they could easily outsell the Iphone. The Iphone sells so much because its a socially accepted scam and it's the only phone from Apple.
Anonymous, 02 Jun 2012Samsung sell a lot for a beta OS. Very unreliable OS. No wonder Nokia didn't go Android.Samsung selling Bada (which is unreliable to) somehow has relevancy to Nokia not going towards Droid?????????
Thornography, 02 Jun 2012It's sad what the world has come to it seems to me that Samsung has followed the foot steps of... moreIn dis case just because something has better specs does not mean its completely better. Sure The new HTC has some better features and more power, but S2 is cooler and better quality. People like s2 better than htc. simple.
It's sad what the world has come to it seems to me that Samsung has followed the foot steps of apple paying off the money to websites and overhyping their devices. Now the only things in everyone's lips is Samsung and apple surfing the internet around I even saw techradar putting the galaxy s2 above HTC one x which is much better then s2 in all ways what hypocrites. Even HTC one S is better then the galaxy s2 it wipes the floor with the s2
a... from Bangladesh, 01 Jun 2012Samsung's flagship phones (s,s2) are rarely used bangladesh.s2 costs 58000tk/ usd 710$+ I ment used IN Bangladesh.gs2 costs usd 710$ + here in june ,2012 in Bangladesh
A total waste of time arguing abt which one is better in sales or function. Just enjoy ur Android or IOS hp. Argue all u want, samsung n apple are richer by the day NOT us!
N3, 01 Jun 2012Iphone has more sales because it is the only smartphone from apple OS, a true competition woul... moreN3 check the specs anf features between S3 and iphone 4s you will find out what's the difference..
Anonymous, 02 Jun 2012Samsung sell a lot for a beta OS. Very unreliable OS. No wonder Nokia didn't go Android.Don't worry about all the makers lousy OS or the stupid UI, once you get your android phone, the 1st thing to do is download and install launchers from the market.
ADW launcher, Go launcher, Launcher7 ( a window 7 look alike)... and if u just switch over from the iPhone like some of my friends... install Espire launcher... It'll just turn your droid into the actual dumb IOS interface. Just as what OpeniBoot + Bootlaces did with the iPhone a couple of years back.
galaxy s2 is the best phone is 2011. tech wise, design wise, price wise. everything is in the i9100. iphone suck eggs! all you have is bragging rights because it is apple made. can't believe people still buy iphone even though it is not worth the price and there are better phones out there like galaxy s2. maybe they need something so they can be noticed or atleast something to brag about. what a shame!!
Well good figures but i'd appreciate some figures of other phones companies too because i don't think they are building phones just for show.Moto Blackberry must be selling too. About Samsung v/s iphone...it is fad versus a better competitor. I have used Iphones and i don't rate them as superior..if not inferior in most cases but undertand it is a cultural statement mostly. But in some countries Samsung is the one to beat status wise. Iphones are looked upon as American jeans were at one time but no less. Anyway..i always went for bang for your buck with great asthetics...and believe me the Iphone is nowhere near that definiton these days.
