Battery life will be just fine. S10e has a 3100mAh battery and it's gotten good results in the gsmarena review. The 4a also has a more power efficient SoC, as well. If only it had wireless charging... It already has a plastic back, why not throw some coils behind it, Google? God knows it's stupid cheap. I'd 100% get one if it had qi charging. It's a darn shame.

Just look at the comments on the Pixel 4 here on this site. Or look at long term reviews of people that actually use the phone and not from those who tested the device for a week after launch. Also, the Pixel 3a has a decent battery life, at least I never heard any compaints from people using it.

Apparently the head of phones, had a moan about the Pixel 4 and 4 XL battery capacity, just prior to launch last year. If the head of the department can't fix it, they have no hope.

Like I said before, battery should have been at least 3700 mah minimum for the 4a and 4300 mah for the xl. 3000 mah just isn't good enough anymore in 2020 no matter how good the OS is optimized.

excellent device overall, but a bit worried about its battery life.
plastic devices aren't the best out there, but at least they can survive a drop.

Time and again Google failed to add decent sized battery. Sad.

The more I hear about this phone, the more it seems it will be my next one.
Compact sizing is great, headphone jack is awesome, punchole is ok, and camera will probably be good as well.
Hopefully the battery life will be ok.

I also don't mind the plastic, waaaaay better than a glossy finished glass back IMO.
Really excited about this phone!

Glad that the squeeze is going, though I am aware that removing features is not a popular idea. Google need to realize that if they add in tings, they'll get flack for taking them out. Though I'm sure the telemetry shows that very few use it. Same with Soli, get rid. Given the departures, over the last 8 months, with many senior execs leaving, they need to get their act together. Sadly, this year, for the flagship is likely to be a rebuild year. And unless they focus and deliver something worthwhile, I see Google abandoning the top end. They release incompetent phones, and heads should role.

I knew there was something off with the selfie camera and was called bezel-lover when I mentioned it. Hopefully, they will remove the ring from the final units. It just makes the camera stand-out, when they should be aiming for the opposite.
