anyone can tell me about the bands for HSDPA? is the same to international version?
well to start with the US version will have LTE right? 4g wont have this until maybe two years time, so the phones will differ there! Also reports say that the US s3 will have a dual core processor, the rest of the world will have quad core. The US version is supposed to have 2gb ram, rest of the world will have one! So unless this is about what it looks like on the surface, it would seem it varies under the bonnet, unless this has changed recently.. Also i would like to see a test with the two comparisons, if there are comparisons. To see if there is a difference in performance.. And still waiting for the blue model here in the UK, will take 5 weeks to come through, if someone can correct me!? :)) Great phone tough.. Waiting!!

droid4every1, 03 Jun 2012Dude,
Believe me, U don't want to buy one of the models the carriers modified. They would j... moreAbsolutely!
iPhone kept the same world over - part of the reason so many accessories are available. Part of the reason for high sales figures - everyone can buy only one option and know that its 'the one and only'.
Having a low, a mid and a high end device is good, but only one model of each. Make them the best in their categories & they will sell.

Believe me, U don't want to buy one of the models the carriers modified. They would just modify the international design, not bring the original processor announced internationally, make u stick with them with a 2 yr contract and above all you wont have much choice of accessories like the international version as each carrier in the country would have their own version(with different dimensions, i mean). The exception is iphone which looks the same universally and so U would have all kinds of accessories available for it in US.
Y cant Samsung just make 1 model instead of these many different types of the same model.....
Roark, 03 Jun 2012 Mark my words. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is the humanisation of the mobile. TCT-mobile doesn't have strong enough network, AND they are 99% most positively not going to have exclusivity to the Galaxy SIII...

T-Mobile is going to rule the super smartphone realm in the USA. With the Samsung Galaxy S3 rocket in T-Mobile's pocket other's better watch out. Yes the Next big thing is here.
Finally a phone without branding in the front. I always thought the carrier logo slathered in front made it too busy-looking.
2 bad at&t are not going to get this desighn with the home botten like t-mobile. i feel bad for all thouse att&t and verizon fans
See, in the UK, carphonewarehouse and phones4u retail stores sell unbranded and unlocked handsets even though they are on contract.
I could never understand why carriers would need to go to such lengths to brand handsets. Although 'in your face' and obtrusive branding seems to be a lot less common with carriers here in the UK, the OS updates go through the carrier so they are free to add or modify the phones software if they want at a later date.
guest, 02 Jun 2012Could this be of the TMobile carrier in Europe? Not the USA.its USA model.the city name is Washington and the temperature is in Fahrenheit
i like the fact that it lets carriers develope a phone even more to make it better. i dont live in usa but if i am not wrong there was some carrier in usa that improved the s2 really much, and i wanted to have one...this is just positive for us customers..,we want better phones right?
