Do not install it if you use english tts. It will break it, won't work anyway for more than one sentence and english is too horrible even for me as non-english speaker.

AndroidMaster, 21 May 2020All these assistants Chinese or otherwise are Spyware. People happily install and use them. you know what other assistant is a spyware? "amazon alexa" it's been proven that it records conversations even when you dont say the key words, to the point that it sends personal info to other users...across the world, you can be sure it's been used in-house too for "quality assurance", but because it's an "American" company it gets the green pass? gtfo ...and others US voice activated assistants too... since they are always listening on the background and you don't have their source code so you can't tell what they are actually doing, just taking the PR words for it as their software being safer. Snowden told you about what "America" does behind the scenes and you think China is that thirsty for your data? Reason why Chinese companies release products that are look alike is simply because people will always buy the same thing over and over again, "eg. MacBook, iPhone.. Most androids even home electronics" similar products over the years with only small changes in design. The moment something "really different" goes on sale it will always be for a low profit because again... "People don't like changes". But let that device be made in China like "everything else" and be designed by "American" it's suddenly spyware-free, but if it's by the Chinese it's not... lol

Surely they chose "Siri", "Cortana", "Bixbi" and "Hey Google" because these aren't real people's names - no-one uses these in normal conversation.

"Celia" on the other hand is a real name. Whenever people say it about/to a real person the phone will butt in.

Its probably Huawei answer to some of the stupid restrictions the USA try to for to them.

And despite US accusations, Huawei phones are probably way more respectful of privacy and way less spying now that they ship without GMS...

And we'll almost all product you use including your phone/computer you typed your message with is mostly made in China...

This is exactly because China is the way it is that countries take advantage of it and make for cheap products in China.
At the end, this is way worse than any accusations against China...

Most people get angry by these assistants people in Nordic countries mostly old people yells at the store where they buy devices and saying the phone is hacked, or yelling wanting to return the device since its speaking English to them... This is a bad idea! -_-

And well, I don't hate the USA as a country, but I hate their attitude, always thinking they own the world, so I love when it backfire at them, but it is the same with any other country.
