MagicMonkeyBoy, 20 May 2020I personally think the iPhone SE is a good phone for simple folk that just want a simple basic... more I can tell when you say that IOS store apps are "outdated" that your TOTALLY NOT the outdated one.

TOTALLY NO FANBOISM in that "android can do anything". Alright, if android can do anything, make me 10 million cookies and distribute it to every person in this galaxy using your android phone. And ONLY using your android phone. Or using your android phone, reverse time and the big bang until everything was a singularity. Also ONLY using your android phone. show me.

notafanboy, 20 May 2020I like smaller, compact phones, but most people want bigger ones. That's a simple fact.People will buy whatever you sell them. People are buying pixel and Samsung even they are expensive, and those are the smallest Android phones you can find. If a Chinese manufacturer Will make small phones many will buy it. try and look for a Xiaomi mi 9 se nowdays. Problem is Chinese companies have no understanding of markets segment, and there is no effort of standing out Via design, only scales: bigger phones, faster chipset, more mega pixels, more lenses and so on.

notafanboy, 20 May 2020I like smaller, compact phones, but most people want bigger ones. That's a simple fact. How you know most people want bigger phones ? There is 0 choice in the market to get a decent specs phone for under 200-300 euro that has something SD675-730 powered chip in them. All the so called compact phones are like 5.45 inch with SD439 and maybe dual camera some very low end phones that cost up to 120 euro that are still big as 147mm

Everything is 6 plus inch screens right now so you cant say most want bigger screen when market dont have a single phone that is under 140mm tall. Except Iphone SE 2020 but most people dont buy them selves apple devices cause they dont like it's closed ecosystem and the need to have all apple products to interact with them easy. Never mind that the iphone SE cost around 500-550 euro where most people dont have that amount of money and are not willing to leach the phone for 2-3 years.

And there is no new phones at all that are compact. Samsung A40 that is year old is only a compact or somewhat compact for todays standards that have somewhat decent specs for under 200 euro.

I personally think the iPhone SE is a good phone for simple folk that just want a simple basic but fairly decent phone.

And that is the good thing about the iPhone SE. I can do more advanced things. But most people would buy it for its discreet sort of size. And people that probably don't use phones that much.

Android have larger screens. Because Android is multi tasking. And is capable of far more dynamic capabilities. Apple is all about its eco system. But that has its disadvantages. And it's natural limits.

iOS and it's store and apps are incredibly outdated.

Android and it's apps have higher refresh rates and frame rates for example.

A small screen is good for the casual user.

But Android users tend to be more technically inclined.

More sophisticated. And because Android gives a superior experience above and beyond anything Apple currently has...

Then a larger screen for Android users is fairly important.

Why? Well... Android users. Use there Android phones in far more ways than an apple user. An apple user tends to be limited to one app at a time. And whatever content is accessible within that app.

Android can do everything. And also be treated like a limited eco system too... Android is a universe...

                  Apple is just a galaxy...

So it warrents a larger screen for Android users... Android gives a far better experience in everything.... Touch, visual, vsync, ghosting, zero lag, touch lag, frame rates, refresh rates... Screen flingers, processing AI.

All of this Apple copying needs to stop. I can somewhat understand copying certain successful features from apple, not so much others (goodbye headphone jack). But the most inexcusable thing is to copy the names. Pro Max, SE, etc. There's no need for that, whatsoever. It won't attract more customers, the naming doesn't make much sense anyway, but the copying is blatant. Sad..

                      >"SE"
                      >6.53" screen

Clickbait phone lol... The android manufacturers' inability to provide a single decent compact phone for past year is astonishing. And since they apparently forgot how to make portable phones, they decided to bait people with the 'SE' moniker in hopes they won't realize they're actually buying a massive brick, lol. (yeah I know 'SE' original stands for 'special edition', but people associate it with small phones)
