I thought Honor phones shipped with all the Google play services and play store as they are now independent from Huawei? Can anyone clear this up? If the prices are anywhere near correct and it is able to use Google services this actually looks ok.

That's a huge irony...
It have more chances to escalade to a full cold war than anything else.

So using Huawei pretty much becomes a no go for those ppl.
I hope the ban gets lifted fast coz Huawei is making some killer devices lately.
But apart from Chinese users, they aren't attracting a lot of other users without play services.

Google Dominance is really bad, and that's when something that doesn't have access to Google got restrictions like this that we realize it...

Love how the Dimensity 820 is making device cheaper.
Great all round device at 270$ starting price.
Crushes the competition with that chipset and camera.
Realme, Redmi must pull up their socks at this price point.

LG Superfan, 20 May 2020TBH I wouldn't take the risk (talking about bricking, bootloop etc not security threats) cause... moreI am not talking about installing another Android ROM, but just installing the Play Store which is just an application, you can install any app manually using the apk file, a little as if you were downloading a software on your computer vs installing it from the Microsoft Store.
