S... moreAs a matter of fact, if the military are able to tap onto such commercial device, it would be far cheaper than developing their own tactical devices with limited production quantity. And by far it could be easily 10x cheaper or more easily. Equipment developed for solely military usage often have outrages price.

This naming and concept is just a scam.
Will it come it Spyware apps like those of Google, Facebook, Whatsapp etc...?????????
Anonymous, 21 May 2020it has its purposes and audience, certainly not for you
do not understand why you should care... moreThat's the same reasons why peoples criticize pop up and bezel (or any other unusual setup) while they have no intent to buy such phones anyway, and while there are over 90% of the rest of the available phones without them...
Funnily enough, that's the same kind of person that will be mad at you when you say anything remotely negative about the features THEY like, even if it is punch hole which is ultra invasive, hated, source of many issue and which it is good to criticize to make its "popularity" goes down...
And that's probably also the same kind of people to be angry because there isn't any innovations or that new generation look exactly like the previous one...
SmartButCool, 21 May 2020S20 with a bulk case. And features not available on the consumer S20 variants. Hopefully free from unfixable somethings heh.
Dimensions and weight: 68.6 x 152.4 x 7.6mm; 162g
How is this possible? That's too small to the dimensions of the phone or the case. If the above is true then this is the smallest and lightest phone and I'd pay anything to get one.

Dear Samsung, if you put a dock onto a regular s20 and a custom software doesn't mean it's good. Be innovative and be economical. You might have more sales that way.
SmartButCool, 21 May 2020S20 with a bulk case. And call it "tactical" because now it looks like a military device or a gaming phone.
Would it come with thermal, IR main and tele cameras it would be at least a bit tactical. Such tech cost thousands and you can see like people in forest. No air or radiation tracking either. Can throw at max.

Mother of ugliness. That might be the ugliest phone I've ever seen. The Samsung Active/Sport series looked far better than this... They certainly could've improved the design a bit on this.
I appreciate that the military wants decent phones, but is a full-on S20 flagship necessary? Sure, they might need the data processing of an SD865 (or, if they're unlucky, an Exynos 990), but do they really need to pay extra for a high-end triple camera setup with 8k video and a 120Hz screen? They're cool to have on your own phone, but they're not necessary and drive up the price.
needs a thicker glass with no curve for extra protection.besides 4000mah is too skinny for military purposes.this device will be used in low coverage rural areas under the sun or snow. so, phone will operate in extreme temperatures and modem will consume much more juice to get signal. 6000-7000mah should fit well. last but not he least, standard Li-Ion (operates in 0-55 C) battery must be replaced with military grade battery to operate under extreme temperatures for more than 2 years.
