Smithravi, 28 May 2020He was just B-Hurt for not getting a review unit (he even mentioned in the video itself that ... moreHe was kinda b-hurt too that Sony told them to return it in 1 week which it seems not enough to make a thorough review. Japan may be in another world when it comes to tech and quality of life but when it comes to business decisions, they're outdated for the western standards. Business Japs tend to do risk free decisions but business is all about taking risks like the risk to heavily advertise or the risk to let reviewers keep it as long as they want for the review and return it on their own accord, not Sony and etc.

One of the worst decisions for Sony is that they're not up to speed when it comes announcement to release. He said that the Xperia 1 was released like 6 months after its announcement. Samsung does it in a month and as earliest as possible (March release). Another worse one is that Sony didn't even think of using sensors more powerful than their flagship like IMX689 and IMX700. They make the sensors for the companies so they should use some for their own and do it in ways Huawei and Oppo "couldn't do" with these sensors.

PS: There's even a small editor's note that he's aware that it's 1 Mark 2 but to you, it's not enough and I understand the gripes.

Doom, 28 May 2020Sony and their Xperia naming... Even more confusing than Trump and Kim Jong Un combined. Ne... moreNo. Sony CEO already said next generations will follow Xperia 1 III, Xperia 1 IV and so on.
Even in back days they followed the name schemes consistently for few years. For ex: Z1-Z5 then XZ-XZ3. Now they are following alpha naming schemes for their flagship name Xperia 1.

Love the Community, 28 May 2020Do you guys agree with Arun Maini (Mr.Whosetheboss)'s decision to put Sony in the #1 of 12 Bru... moreHe was just B-Hurt for not getting a review unit (he even mentioned in the video itself that they didn't send him Xperia 1). He just wants to diss Sony when they are about to open their pre-orders. He made similar video previously as well.

I don't say Xperia name scheming is easy to understand for new user at least until last year. But c'mon this year one needs no rocket science to understand Xperia 1 Mark II (clearly he knew what exactly this name scheme is and will be continued in future and is inspired by Sony alpha/headphones devices). If he would have released something like this an year back (which he actually did), I wouldn't mind. But after Unbox therapy video, it seems like he was hurt and behaved like a total dump. He just wants to throw mud at them.

PS: He even spelled it as Xperia One Two as if he never heard about Alpha series or ANC king WH-1000M3 (M3 means mark 3). I was like what???

Android Master, 28 May 2020Steal technology? Lol OP8 pro pretty much using R&D from its parent company Oppo. Oppo was a DVD player maker who started business by same ''we all know how'' state sponsored way. so R&D at oppo!! joke of the era!!

Android Master, 28 May 2020Says the guy who didn't even know that one can change bitrate. Open camera, snap camera, L... moreThird party apps cannot tap into camera specific features at the firmware level. They are great for some midrange phones but on flagships where you have huge R&D like RYYB sensors or HLG recording that's where third party apps cannot do nothing. Same goes for photography third party apps, they just manipulate the image they get from the sensor and thats it. They cannot utilize sensor's special features.

Excalibur, 28 May 2020I wanna give the legion phone a chanceTBH I wouln't and I will just continue to ignore Lenovo mobile division until they get their act together.
For years they are one of the worst, so buying right now anything Lenovo related is just pure gamble.

Macroblocks can be larger and the structures have been altered to improve parallel processing. It beats H.264 when processing time or bandwidth are constrained, which is pretty much always the case with 4K and 8K video.

i like today fake rich kiddos who act like lol who need the jack
i when at work or doing some jugging dont need... better earbuds
but home or gaming i need them no matter what
its not about if i can afford the wireless or not
i'm gonna buy these one because they put some good work on these phone to meet what people need
don't force me to buy a wireless leave the 3.5 alone
adding a 100$ for a thing many don't use much
ang gamers prefer the jack for better sound and infinite battery
