Anonymous, 23 May 2020they offer links for most of their phones to upgrade to newer android version on their website... moreThat kinda sucks as imo they make some good handsets, I think the one in this article is a joke though what an earth are they thinking putting a low capacity batt in like that.

      Well, you got your wish. I hope you guys will give Sharp the justice they deserve ever since Xiaomi according to you, uncredited Sharp for the innovative tri-bezelless design.

        This is pure example of brag marketing type with 0 value to the user. 240hz is a gimmick which will drain your battery in no time, well done Sharp for making useless phone :)

                    SHARP seems to have a lot going for its smartphones, yet it has so far had serious difficulties to take off anywhere outside Japan.

                    In 2017, Foxconn (Sharp's owner) had put up lots of marketing effort to push Sharp smartphones in Asia and Europe. At the 11-11-2017 shopping festival, Foxconn had crazy promotions for Sharp TVs and phones:
                    1) Buy any Sharp TV, get a free Sharp smartphone;
                    2) Buy any Sharp TV 65" or larger, get a free 50" Sharp TV.
                    3) Buy a Sharp flagship smartphone, get a Sharp mid-ranger smartphone free.
                    This promotion did move a large number of Sharp TVs, but still very few takers of Sharp smartphones.

                              Nick Tagataka, 23 May 2020lol Samsung is always the king or in the second place when it comes to accurate colour reprodu... moreeven switching from vivid to natural mode but the image like asphalt road or concrete wall seems like ceramic or porcelain in sammy display or plastic balloon seems like glass balloon, even you take indoor pic with poor light with entry phones but when you send that poor quality image capture to sammy phone, somehow the image boosted, better and brighter/more contrast (even in natural mode) it always has more popping colors than your eyes can see. But this is the main reason why sam phones selling well, people love it

                                  [deleted post]im not defending apple, but the thing is people (like you) unable to understand about OEM. Most company in the world are not manufacturing their products, they will ask other companies to manufacture and or assembling to other companies like foxconn, winstron, pegatron etc, so other companies like sony, dell, hp, acer are manufacturing their own products from those companies (foxconn etc)such xbox, your laptop, wifi routers, phones, blackberry, sony playstations are made mostly from foxconn.. even samsung sometimes asking other companies like LG or sharp or JDI panels as OEMs to create their display to fulfill exceeding demand beyond their production capacity.
