If this was Samsung and now Xiaomi this would cost about 4000e. And all the fanboy!! would say wow this is not expensive at all. Well guess who is making expensive products.

sohail shafayat, 22 May 2020great phone without(?) a battery!!!It's using Sharp's power efficient display tech, although I suggest carrying a power bank with you if you're going to be disconnected from a power source with a lot of heavy usage

LilPhone, 22 May 2020Where's the proof? Give me a link. Here is a video demonstration officially from them(sparrow news reposted but it's sharps official video):

In the right you literally see the black frames in between

I could dig up from their site but I'm feeling too lazy right now

                (Edit)

Let me put in more effort..
                Ok here is the site:
                https://aquosmobile.sharp.com.tw/WebSubSite/aquos/zero2.html
                Here is their fine print
                * 1 On the smartphone screen, the screen update at 120Hz per second is linked, and a black screen is inserted through the middle to achieve AQUOS zero (60 display state changes per second) 4 times the change of the display state 240 times per second set up).

Guys wait for it. Sure the panel could be bad or the touch input might be badly optimized. I personally didn't like Sharp phones, but i very much liked their innovative approach. It sucks they had so many software problems, but they do put in a lot of effort. Keep in mind this is not the phone for people who want reliability.

the problem with sharp high display mode is that it not really well optimized ... the got the hardware right but software is a bit flop..

their touch sampling did not match up the display high refresh rate.. resulting a bit shuttering here and there.. (based on their previous flagship that use 120hz display)

but it not much to complaint as it only cost $700 ..

But I understand it's not common technology and people are brainwashed and hive minded of thinking Samsung oled is best lol

And this is 240hz with black frame insertion but is still 240hz regardless

Sharp was making phones when most of the commenters below were sucking on a milk bottle. They don't realize what they're dissing. Sharp is not only a producer, but also an innovator. They're contributed a lot to the industry and given ideas to their competitors. Sharp deserves respect. You should know that.
