Do you have to carry your phone with your when you use GPS or does the Gt2e track your runs by itself and then upload the GPS data to your phone when you are back from your run and within Bluetooth range.
I don't want A-GPS which means that you have to carry your phone with you on runs.

I just received mine and i actually think this watch is great with its budget price. I had been watching some youtube reviews (including the video uploaded by gsm arena) before i decided to get one, and true enough, the watch performs very well given the price. It pairs seamlessly with my huawei nova 2i (mate 10 lite, which is a bit ancient lol). If you are in a budget and hoping for quality, then this watch is for you. if you have a lot of cash though and would go for branding, then you can always get the apple watch series. Peace!~ :-)

@GsmArena

you should add HR accuracy tests to your smart/sportwatch suite if you want to call it a review and not just a listing of claimed features.

Most watches are total crap in HR accuracy.

You will quickly find this out by testing accuracy against Polar H10 belt.

Some are better than others.

The only way to find out which ones is go test against a reference measure.

It's okay watch, I love the design and battery life. However it doesnt have basic features like linking with
Endumundo or Strava, you cant replay to messages (quick replies would be totally fine). Sleep tracking is quite useless as it struggles realising whan you are awake during night.

What did I juts read. of course you need to huawei login or the daily schedule or routine of whatever customizable things on the watch can be seen only by you. And it doesn’t have components from the play store because Huawei isn’t allowed to have acces to the Play store.

But Huawei is too close to the Chinese government for anyone to trust their vital information to it, without a way to transfer to other health applications. I'd never wear this even if it was free.
