so that's 6 versions of the redmi k30 then...when will they stop flooding the market with different versions? As much as people hate the pixel phones, I like that there is just 3 Versions of it! That's enough: a base model, a premium/big model and a midrange model.

Chinese vendors did say there will be cheap 5G compatible phones released this year. But I never expected them to be released this early. We're not even in the second half of the year and there are already plenty of cheap 5G phones. This will put pressure on telcos to roll out 5G faster for sure as their customers will demand it for their 5G phones.

Xiaomi should've rebranded this phone as Poco F2 instead of the K30 Pro. Sure, it would be basically the same CPU as Poco F1 with slightly less power and better battery life, but personally I'd take 120 Hz screen over the extra power of SD865 any. day. of. the. week.
Plus, it would've helped Xiaomi to keep the price around the original Poco F1's 300$ mark.

This is exactly the main strength of Xiaomi. Latest tech at affordable prices. Their MI 10 was a step in the wrong direction IMO but these Redmi series is playing to their strengths.
