These humps are getting beyond ridiculous. I'm so glad Samsung skipped the camera spec-race on the Z Flip.
Shanti Dope, 25 May 2020No periscope lens, meaning no more 100x Space Zoom. Honestly, that thing was pretty much just... moreThere is periscope lens , it's on the bottom
Shanti Dope, 25 May 2020No periscope lens, meaning no more 100x Space Zoom. Honestly, that thing was pretty much just... moreThe bottom one is a periscope lens. If you look at it carefully you can see that it has a rectangular opening inside the circular camera ring (it looks quite stupid IMO), which indicates that the third camera module has a prism inside.
Anonymous, 25 May 2020they are using the same design language across their whole line just like mercedes benz or toy... moreyou want compact device then wait for iphone 12 or 12 pro
No periscope lens, meaning no more 100x Space Zoom.
Honestly, that thing was pretty much just a gimmick rather than being a very useful tool.
It certainly worked better than most other periscope zoom cameras at around 30-50x, so I guess they should've just stick with that instead of trying to surpass Chinese brands with supposedly double the zoom range.
Again, why no headphone jack? It's certainly not too late to do that, and I don't care about any explanation about removing or returning it. I simply want it back on mainstream flagship phones. Not only Samsung, but basically every single Android OEM, and so in that way, Apple themselves would also be forced to bring the jack back as well.
The phone is already super expensive enough to make the lack of a headphone jack a major deal breaker.
Camera hump is no more. Embrace the camera stove!
It's amazing how Samsung can come up with something more uglier than their previous flagship.
Last year they messed up the hardware design by placing all the buttons on the left, this year they place the S Pen on the left and add a tumorous camera bump on the back. I'm so put off by the design.
The only thing that Note 20+ has going for itself over my Note 10+ in my view is the 120Hz display. I'm just so tired of laggy transitions.
The battery capacity is also disappointing. My Note 10+ has horrible battery life, not expecting any better from the Note 20+
currently using S10, i'd prefer samsung to be a good lad and make a Note 20mini, lite or whatever the size of S10 to fit my small hands. anything bigger, then it would be the S10 & me for a long while.....
...nah. This will still sell but definitely not for me.
Too thin. Should be 10 mm all around. That way its easier to grip and the battery life would be phenomenal. This thinness obsession only hurts the consumer and creates enormous camera bumps compared to the back of the phone which is a major weak point. Also still no 3.5 mm jack: a huge mistake.
Boring af.
Anonymous, 25 May 2020Why does every manufacturer need to use the same camera hump? I know people hate the phone, bu... moreTCL is much thicker (about 1.5 mm). Add to that a case (even minimalistic clear case) and it will feel really bulky. The phones with the "camera hump" allow you to put that case and reach around the stock thickness of TCL. These are me thoughts anyway.
Its a BRick?? NOO, Its a Powr BAnk??? NOoo, its a Tablet?? NOOOO, Its Samsung note20+...
Jokes a part.
why dont just put those specs on a 10" ? and call it a TAB. and now you can put those absurd prices on it
Note 20 lite with 3.5mm jack, flat screen and whatever exyno 9611 replacement they have coming months later.
All to drive home the point that those features are for poor people.
Stupid edges are still there.
Why does every manufacturer need to use the same camera hump? I know people hate the phone, but the TCL10 looks different at least and I really like it.
