Anonymous, 25 May 2020guess you support poor copycats with no originalityYeah so much that I bought the real deal pro version instead.. it's just that I don't get why would you move on from a design that many peoples love just for the sake of originality (let's see if Pixel Buds sells), even though it literally just works for most ? Same thing goes for the name, why call them something else when they're just buds, made by OnePlus ?

OnePlus' truly wireless earphones to be called OnePlus disposable buds. Just like disposable cotton ear buds.

Have had two bluetooth earbuds in the past 3 years. They become fast battery draining just after a few months of heavy use and the rubber and plastic parts become rather brittle in just around a year especially with regular sports/outdoor use (acid sweat/UV exposure). These expensive disposable thingies were designed and made to be disposed regularly, like cotton buds.

I have actually no problem with manufacturers selling bluetooth earbuds as there are some things wireless earbuds are the preferred choice (sports/workouts/jogging)--- BUT, (that's a BIG BUT), to REMOVE the 3.5mm headphone jack just so manufacturers can FORCE phone users to buy disposable bluetooth devices every year, doesn't sit well with me.

It's a classic CORPORATE GREED. Just as REMOVAL of micro SD storage expansion is classic GREED. Give customers bluetooth earbuds and 512GB/1TB internal storage phone options but don't ever remove the ever reliable headphone jack and the cost effective, future proof micro SD storage expansion, you GREEDY manufacturers (Apple, Google, Oneplus)! At least provide some of your customers a choice like Samsung, LG and Sony which do have some flagship models equipped with 3.5mm jack and micro sd expansion!

But the icing on the cake is that, yet again, OP is copying a design that the original trendsetter has already realized is flawed and has moved on from (AirPods Pro). Seems they're destined to always be introducing new tech that's old-fashioned.

Just ask wireless fans who have a hard time using their sets due to the existence of a 3.5mm port. /s

Please provide a headphone jack option on your next phone, and I would actually pay 400 USD extra for it, to satisfy your revenue and margin needs.

I know, never gonna happen.
