I bought Galaxy watch 3 on preorder in November 2019 in anticipation that it will have ECG, 8 months have gone and all I hear is I will get it soon 🤣🤣🤣 Now it looks that I will have to wait until 2021 (or else) will I get some kind if refund from Samsung for selling me a watch with no key feature ? Same thing with promised bp checking when I hear this I only laugh. PLUS I had Apple watch previously but in Apple case it took only 6 months to get ECG and they never said that I will get it directly. So PLEASE SAMSUNG stop this buls... and do not promise that I will get it in some time JUST GIVE IT

I bought this watch in Europe being confident in Samsung’s promise that my watch will get this feature very soon. I saw that “soon” means something else to Samsung.

It's about legal approval for usage by health agencies. ECGs are heavily regulated, and rightfully so. You're not allowed to sell an ECG without approval by each territory's health agency.

So people who want to give it a try can do so without longer waiting.
