If this same phone was made by Samsung, Xioami or Apple, then haters would be okay with a $1700 tag. Since it is Sony, they demand it to be $500.

Ali Bashir, 26 May 2020What is the reason behind the no support of 5G in the US?The phone doesn't support any 5G bands that are currently used by US Networks. Personally I was hoping they'd release a US version with band 71 (t-mobile) added, but looks like they're just releasing it as is. So if a US network adds a band used by the phone it should work on that network.

This phone has the most professional camera ever put in a smartphone by far... It uses A class Sony camera elements. Autofocus. And firmware... It also has the highest dpi of any phone so far... Just under 700 dpi. And a 4K 21:9 screen...
I completely under estimated this phone... It's very professional.

I'm a average user, had 4 Sony phones after Nexus 5 & Nexus 6. Need a new phone this year, and think I have to switch back to Pixel phones, this Sony is for professionals.

Why sony still thinking ppl will follow there hearts to buy Sony. No loyalty any more, electronics are value to money.
Moreover, Sony not working to keep your devices price up. Only, we buy it with this price, after 6month, Sony hardly try to find customers.
